Can't believe that he's trying the bloody Human right crap and yes I do think they should let him go back to jail so the lags can get at him.

Let him rot!

Coney - May 14, 2008 10:28 AM (GMT)
Circumcise him with a bread knife but don't use anaesthetic. ;)

frelling silly that this can even be bought up. He was given 30 life sentences, he should serve every single one of them to the maximum sentence.

He was given twenty life sentences and told to serve at least 30 years so any parole is unlikely to be considered until at least 2011

He was given twenty life sentences

Sorry, I was going from memory (I'd not click that link if you paid me), I think he should serve the maximum of each life sentence he was given.

After that, he's more than welcome to be released.

(at which time someone will bludgeon him to death)

Yeah, it would defeat giving him the sentence otherwise

Even if it's the minimum term (not sure what that is off hand?) then that would probably be enough to keep him in prison for his entire life...

Unless the minimum is less than 4 years, in which case it needs to be revised.

Aren't these things usually set to run concurrently?

I think the justice system almost "cheated" a bit by sending him to Broadmoor after his conviction so they can safely play the insanity card. However in recent years he's been fighting against that so something needs to be sorted

Fritz wasn't worried, he knew that the English couldn't hit the target from 12 yards out....

Even if he were to come up for parole, it has to be decided if it is safe to release him. I suspect they will not want to give the OK. Also, the Home Secretary can refuse the release - no Home Secretary would take the risk on doing otherwise because the press (and the opposition) would have a field day. That was done for Myra Hindley when she tried it. (There is also the factor that if he were to be released, the chances are he would not live for long if he could be identified.)

He will never get out. Period.
