Does anyone else get annoyed when this line is continuously spouted out by the board??
So If Wenger wanted to sign Ronaldo for £100m the board would give him the money??!
The board know they can get away with this politician talk as they know Arsene would never demand to spend what we can't afford.

Why bother saying the same thing again, we already know they are 100% behind AW....but the proof is in the pudding, when you've not been winning anything and not really been spending much on players (net) it's hardly concrete evidence that a) AW has their full backing in the transfer market and b) they are really that bothered that we're not being successful.
Frankly I'd rather the board just shut up or were actually honest and told us the full story. Sometimes it's just patronising for the fans to hear all these things, when the things they really want to know never come out.

I think you missed the point of this thread...
It's nothing to do with having a good relationship with Wenger, it's why do they bother spouting the line 'we've never not signed a player Wenger wanted' . It's complete propaganda as we all know Wenger's not going to say 'I want Kaka gimme £50m' as he knows the answer will be no.

Oi Nayan.
The geezers might have said they will support Arsene's tranfers but they have not said they will support Arsene's wage plans for the players. I know AW has said he believes the players should accept the Arsenal wage structure but has he said what it is or what it will be?
