Title: freddie loses the plot

Nayan's Photo Casebook - June 4, 2008 09:05 AM (GMT)
Freddie was quoted this week as saying, “It’s all about my injuries. Wenger doesn’t like those who show weakness. With him, you feel as if you’re in the army. I was offended when I learnt from the papers Wenger was ready to consider offers for me. No one told me. So I went to West Ham in order to play against Arsenal as often as possible.”

Yep because injured players are the heart and soul of a team aand we must keep them at all costs

Yeah, why wouldn't he like it when someone is being paid £60k a week to sit on the treatment table most of the season?

No offence Freddie, and thanks for all you did do for us, but if you're going to get injured as much as you did those last few seasons then why should we keep you?

No player gets perpetually injured to annoy anyone, I'm sure it frustrates the player as much as anyone, but it doesn't make sense to keep players who can't do the job because of ongoing injuries. Have to cut your losses at some point.
Yes, RvP, I am looking at you.

How does going to West Ham ensure playing against Arsenal as often as possible. Surely a top four team is the only way to ensure a greater chance of doing that?

Hmmm.

This is a perfect example that 99% of what the media reports is either taken out of context or is entirely made up.

I am with you on that! :smooch: *Pets Freddie's shiny bald head.*

I knew it was all lies the moment I heard it. I feel sorry for the poor man (when I forget about how stinking rich he is), getting forced out of his beloved Arsenal.

had a question.... how does players salary get affected when they r injured... are they paid the same amount? half amount? nothing!? injuries like the ones suffered by eduardo are unfortunate and he shud be paid the usual salary but shitkickers like v.persie and rosicky shud be paid a quarter of their salary or nothing!
