You know that Argentina goal that had something like 20 passes before they scored, was that in the Euro's or World Cup a couple of years ago ?

Brazil's fourth against Italy in 1970.
Bergy came third, was out of fifty.
Also, we have a classic post in this thread.

If only you'd listened to Kevin Keegan during the ENG - ARG match in St.Etienne. "You feel Argentina will be there or thereabouts at every big tournament to come. Though they won't do anything at Euro2000, as they not European of course". Sage sage counsel... :sarcy:

Do you mean the one against Serbia & Montenegro in Germany ´06 (6-0)??? Many good passes, but Cambiasso finished poorly, he even misses it!! :getcoat:
Any way, there are more rare and effective goals, like the ones scored by Maradona in 1986 against....................................................................................................................................................................................................................
England!!......................:ninja:.................................

The hand ball goal or the own goal?

Not sure, but Cambiasso finished it yes. They made something like 26 passes before hand, half of which switched ends from the football pitch :good:
Cripps - June 9, 2008 04:31 PM (GMT)
What a boring goal that was.
Give me the quick counter attack any day of the week over that.

The handball, The Hand of Cheat!!!! :handbags:
This month he´s quite in-form ( ) we´ll see next week. Argentina will have to call him up again to get to South Africa, he is STILL the best argentinian player!!!!!!!!! :crying:
BTW, do you know Sergio Agüero is dating one of Maradona´s daughters???
With so much money, so many to choose from, to get that one??? :yikes:

Italy didn´t celebrate their championship because they couldn´t score a goal like that.
Really, what a useless goal!!!!!!!!! And given the situation, expect more uselessness from (many of) this group of players!!!!! For instance, next sunday Argentina will be playing against ecuador and the following wedneseday against....BRAZIL!!!!!!! It hurts to say this, but argentina should lose BOTH games playing total crap, to make some people consider making some changes. We´ll see.
