| Tomas has had surgery on his knee and we expect him to be flying by pre-season. Eduardo will be longer although hopefully he will be back doing training during pre-season. |

Just using this board to give my heartfelt thanks to Gary Lewin and the service he has given to the club for what (21) years! A true professional and servant to both Arsenal and England!
It is going to seem strange not to see his mug running onto the pitch when one of our guys go down!
Anyway cheers Gary, and good luck

If that was based on a comment I made the other day, it was a throw-away line - I have no idea about his earnings.

Wenger stings like a bee - June 16, 2008 10:03 AM (GMT)
Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has revealed he may miss the start of the new Premier League season.
The Czech Republic international has been out since January with a knee injury and underwent surgery in May, ruling him out of Euro 2008.
Arsenal had felt his recovery was going well but the 27-year-old could, in fact, be unable to join the rest of the Gunners' squad for pre-season training.
"It will be yet a long time before I return, but at the start of the new season - some time in August - I will hopefully start with training," Rosicky told CTK.

:banghead: What a joke his injury situation is.
What is the point of relying on such a player for next season.
We can't even sell him, because he's such a sicknote.

When he is back he should be okay, the long standing problem has been fixed now.

Oh well.
Walcott to play at RM for the start of the season. Then Rosicky can come in for the tough, Christmas period to give Walcott a rest. And Theo can finish the job from February onwards. :good:

I would hazard a guess that the translation should have the word 'still' instead of 'yet'.
arsenal901 - June 16, 2008 05:12 PM (GMT)
terminate his contract! this guy got injured before dudu and dudu is almost ready to come back and this shitkicker is still out.... players like him should be sold off the moment he gets back even a little fitness..
Coca Kolo - June 16, 2008 05:13 PM (GMT)
I'll be suprised to see him play over 25 games in all comp's next season. Arsene being the genius he is has probably got plans for our 'left wing' without Tomas anyway.
Fran Merida anyone?
Professor Zim - June 17, 2008 08:08 AM (GMT)
Rosicky reckons he'll be out at the beginning of next season, where does it all end with this guy is he going to be a crock for the rest of his life?
Talented player but have to say he's been a waste of money, he just can't stay fit........I don't understand how someone can get injured so many times and for so long!
AW seems to think he's going to stay fit, I think that's a foolish assessment as he doesn't seem to have achieved that during his career so far.
