I doubt this is actually true or is at least a bluff from AW.

If it is true, that'll be more matches with 15 shots off the woodwork in the first half-hour until the opposition nick one with their first & only venture outside of their own six yard box.

To be honest there's only one defender I'd like us to sign and that's Thuram, and thats only so that we can send Song, Djourou and Nordveit out on loan all season!

I actually think Song can be a first class defender. But we definitely need a cover for Clichy. Toure's form really dipped during ACON and did not improve a lot afterwards. I think he can do better next season though.

Having said that, we need a very fit finisher. We dropped points from our inability to finish off little clubs and that's what really hurts

wqenger has already said he want to strengthen there, i doubt the sudden change of heart is his real thoughts, more of a bluff

I wonder how long it will take for some people to understand that Wenger does not give out free hints to the media about who he will or will not sign, nor any clues. If it means he has to deceive the media in the process, so be it. I have no problem with that - the media do not have a special right to know everything or be told the truth. Exactly, AW is a master of disguise. He clearly is entitled to taking every advantage he can to strenthen the side. That is his main priority not appeasing to every demand of a typical fan.

We don't need any players...next season they'll all have one more years experience..that's like having an extra player....then when the crocks come back that'll be like having and extra 3 players.
