In the Sunday Express , Harry Pratt said Peter Hill-Wood and the board are privately resigned to losing control of AFC.

If that’s true it’s the biggest Arsenal news since 2005, when they got the £260 million loan to build Ashburton Grove.

Harry Pratt has a very good boardroom source - he wrote the story that TH14 would leave for Barcelona in the summer of 07 at least nine months before it happened.

Right, so Harry Pratt is so in the know as he knew in the summer of 2006 that Henry would go to Barca despite having a month earlier signed his infamous contract. Just who is his good source then...mmmm.....let me think.....wouldn't be that old has been Dein would it? The same Dein who was shafted by Nina (she was the one to blab on him) and is desparate to stir shit at every oppourtunity, the same Dein that has Mail journo's wrapped round his finger.
Let's be clear, the board now is three men, Friar (as tight lipped as a KGB general), Danny (who utters two words a season) and P H Diddy to the W (who only ever speaks to the Express), so if he's got sauce its gotta be DD.
The shit aside, Arsenal's board do have to work out who will buy people's shares one, two, five, ten years down the line. Danny won't as he turned the chance to buy Landsdowne's shares down, so that only leaves Stan or the fans (and that's not in place although it is feasible), so he needs to get Stan "involved".

Yes, Myles feels the board are old duffers, not football men and not 21st century football men and he has a fair point but whereas Dein may well have been an excellent football man, his outrageous behaviour should forever write him off as being someone who can be relied on to have Arsenal's best long term interests at heart.

The HP source is definitely a board member or close relative of one of them and not DD.

As for writing, like countless other hacks, that TH14 would join Barca in the summer 0f 2007 some months before it happened, HP's story concentrated on the board giving their approval to the sale. That represented a huge change because they had been desperate to ensure Henry was at the club for the first season at the Emirates - hence the mega money he was paid.
