Veloso is like a poor mans Carrick. He's technicaly very good but isn't very mobile and IMHO is not dynamic enough or mobile enough for us.
The prices being touted for him are insane, he's worth 10mill max IMHO.

Not seen much of him, can someone tell us much about him? I know he's a defensive midfielder, and played for Portugal against Switzerland, but I only caught the start of the match, so can't really judge him.

he's been the hero of messageboards over the last two years or so as the next big thing at dm. He can also play at cb, they say.
