Title: Who are the champions?

Flava Flav - June 27, 2008 10:12 AM (GMT)
Go on then, i know its early but who are we picking to win the leagues from around Europe this season?

I guess Lyon in France although Bordeauz wont be far behind

Inter with Juve and Roma closer this year

Porto......by a mile

And Bayern unless they have one of their wierd years

The Emirates Gallastico - June 27, 2008 10:12 AM (GMT)
Lyon / Juventus / Porto / Bayern / Barcelona

Cripps - June 27, 2008 10:15 AM (GMT)
Lyon

Bayern

Real

Inter

Benfica

Flava Flav - June 27, 2008 10:16 AM (GMT)
and i guess it will be Real in spain as Barca are rebuilding

Toure de Emirates - June 27, 2008 11:32 AM (GMT)
England: Arsenal
France: Lyon
Italy: Inter Milan
Portugal: Porto
Germany: Werder Bremen (yes it probably won't happen, but i've picked all the favourites so far bar Arsenal)
Spain: Real Madrid
Holland: PSV

I have a hard time seeing Inter winning it again. Some key players are by this point ... just. too. old. Roma almost (well, not really almost) got it last season. And I can see Juve making a real push too. Maybe even Milan, depending on whether they make another good signing or two; they'll certainly have the motivation.

It's just so hard to win it three years in a row in a top league.

KaiserKolo - June 27, 2008 04:16 PM (GMT)
England: Man Utd <_<
France: Lyon (who else?)
Italy: Inter Milan (Mourinho effect, but would have liked Roma to do it. Milan, Juve and Fiorentina should be around there, a very interesting race potentially)
Portugal: Porto (match-fixing scum)
Germany: Bayern (Would love Werder to do it, but they are horrible defensively, though this makes for some stunning games)
Spain: Real Madrid (with ease with a smaller winning margin to last year)
Holland: Ajax (if they keep Huntelaar)

:yikes:

I'm predicting these two bullies to be winners in the hope that they actually fail and Werder Bremen and Villarreal win the league.
