wouldnt be surprised if we signed him, especially as the news has been broken by a smaller paper, the big ones dont give a shit about transfers that actually happen, they only deal in bullshit,

e.g. look how little coverage ramsey got, or eduardo got last year

also speaking of bremen, what the fark happened to deigo supposedly signing?

god the papers are so full of crap and they dont even try to hide it!

The Emirates Gallastico - June 29, 2008 11:28 AM (GMT)

What a pointless signing

i wouldnt say it was pointless, we need to replace flamini, and we dont need someone with a huge ego to do so, in fact a young nobody with everything to prove might just be the guy to fill in...

Ye but with a fecking midget

Bischoff towards Arsenal

The medium ground of Werder of Bremen (Bundesliga), Amaury Bischoff, 21 years, will begin with Gunners d' Arsenal (First League) in the days which come. A new stage in the career of old the colmarien and of Strasbourg.
Already contacted six months ago per Arsenal, Amaury Bischoff decided to pass the course. It will not be any more in Bremen the next year. Colmarien goes as of today to London where it will meet the leaders of Gunners.

“There remain still some details to be finalized. And then one awaits especially the return of Arsène Wenger who is in Vienna for the final of the Euro, entrusts Bischoff. But I hope to sign in the next days.”

The sporting challenge which awaits it is more than consequent. “Arsenal, it is still a notch above. Enormous… As I return from one long period without playing, I think of evolving/moving with the reserve time to find feelings. And afterwards, it is with me to make me my place… The advantage in England, it is that there is many matches.”

From its three seasons spent to Werder (it joined Bremen in 2005), Bischoff will have almost only good memories, even if the wounds regularly held it drawn aside of the grounds (*).
“Without my pubalgie I would have played much more, because I had the confidence of staff (Thomas Schaaf and Klaus Allofs). But I nevertheless made 10 or 15 benches of keys in Bundesliga and I involved myself with players like Diego, Micoud, Frings or Klasnic. That enormously made me progress.”

More still than the level of play of the players, it is that of the infrastructures which impressed the Alsatian one. “That does not have absolutely anything to see with what one can find in France.”

At the point not to think to return to play in the Hexagon. “For the moment, my career, it is abroad that occurs. When one plays in stages which are always full and which one involves in front of 5 000 people, they is nevertheless fabulous…”

Retained in -18 years with the team of France and in -21 years with Portugal (country of origin of his/her mother), Amaury also chose its national team: it will be the latter.

And Bischoff to project itself until October 14: this day, the Portuguese hopes will dispute a decisive match before the Euro 2009. It will be in Wembley vis-a-vis in England…

Meh - if he can do Flams job then great. Best of luck to the fella.

Just hope he's slightly humbler than some of the roses playing for us atm

I am very skeptical about a player who is referred to as "it."

Does it have no gender? Is that even allowed in the premier league?

KaiserKolo - June 29, 2008 01:01 PM (GMT)
I know I'm being pragmatic, but signings such as Pjaniae (sp?) were also said to be basically done from small newspaper sources, so as is the norm, i won't believe this until it appears in the Telegraph...;)

(How low has that paper gone recently, I headrd someone coin it 'The Sun for posh people' on here recently )

Rocky Robin - June 29, 2008 06:57 PM (GMT)
Great.............. :banghead:

Bischoff joined German outfit Bremen in 2005, having only previously played for his youth team, Racing Strasbourg. But despite being on the verge of a move to Arsenal, the youngster has never made a full first-team appearance at the Weserstadion, although he has been a regular for the club’s second team since joining the Bundesliga runners-up.

However the player recently stated that after a string of injury troubles he is now ready to step into the limelight and continue his footballing education under Arsenal manager Wenger, who is renowned for picking up and developing some of Europe’s top young talent.

This sounds like a Wenger signing. Don't be suprised if this goes through.

Elchegooner - June 29, 2008 11:02 PM (GMT)
What a pile of sh!t signing if this goes through.

We're in danger of losing Flamini, Ade and Hleb....and we're thinking of signing a bloke that can't even get into to the German League's first team.

Really I've had enough of this crap.

Just fricking sign players that can make a difference and help us win the League rather than another bargin basement signing that might be good or might not.

According to German press. They are shocked he might be picked up by Arsenal...they say he needs to work a lot to be anywhere near the 1st team.

Sounds more Alberto Mendez than anything else to me.

How are we expected to compete with this kind of rubbish. No offence to the guy but this is Arsenal and we deserve better than this in the transfer market.

hleb_on_left - June 29, 2008 11:02 PM (GMT)
another injury prone player? great...wenger better not complain when this guy is crocked

Coca Kolo - June 29, 2008 11:58 PM (GMT)
It's a smokescreen. We're actually in for Diego of Werder Bremen.
