There was some good writing in it initially but it went on far too long and it has been flogged to death. And when I have seen the odd episode, the American studio audience is sad beyond description - they don't seem to know it is fiction. Mind you, they are Americans, I suppose. ;)

I never managed to complete the game though.
I think I got to the final stage were Clouds against Sepiroth but I never could beat him - apparently there were loads of those....damn, forgot what their called now <_< - the things that summoned the beasts/animals i.e batumet....which I couldn't find.
