Title: Hull, Stoke or West Brom

Toure de Emirates - August 12, 2008 07:12 PM (GMT)
I'd go for WBA. They have a pretty good team, i think they have a good manager too. Stoke haven't done much transfer wise, Seyi Olofinjana from Wolves is a pretty good buy and Dave Kitson will be a good buy, Sorensen also joined on a free as well i think. Hull have strengthened quite well. Mendy, Geovanni and Boateng are not bad buys but i think Hull are in for a struggle. I wouldn't be suprised if they stayed up though :good:.

Da Silva Lining - August 12, 2008 07:14 PM (GMT)
WBA for me as well.

The Emirates Gallastico - August 12, 2008 07:14 PM (GMT)
WBA, other two are shite.

Da Silva Lining - August 12, 2008 07:16 PM (GMT)
Plus WBA have Ishmael Miller, who is world class

Flava Flav - August 12, 2008 07:20 PM (GMT)
west brom but i think the cod heads will shock a few teams this year, very much like Bolton were under sam Allardyce, big, physical, lethal from set pieces and they have a good spattering of skill to even it out

West Brom probably

Yeah. West Brom.

I seriously think the other two could 'do a Derby'. Mayby not quite that bad but I think they'll really struggle.

I admit I say that without knowing anything much about their teams, just a feeling.

Coca Kolo - August 12, 2008 07:42 PM (GMT)
West Brom will beat us on Saturday.

West Brom will beat us on Saturday.

I'm always a little nervous of playing newly promoted sides, they tend to try extra hard at the start and try to get off to a flier.

Don't think we'll lose but a draw wouldn't surprise me.

We drew against them last time at home.

Earnshaw came on and scored a late equaliser.

That was 04/05, last was 05/06 on Dennis Bergkamp Day at Highnbury. 3-1 with a Bergkamp goal :scarf:.

You are right.

Time flies so fast.

I don't know a lot about any of them. I'd guess West Brom since they've been in the Premier League fairly recently and so their players have been through it before. A lot will depend on which how good the players are at getting a grip on shirts, and how skillfully they can dish out cynical kicks and niggly elbows to opponents without getting caught. So I guess Dean Windass and Hull probably have a good chance too.
