Toure de Emirates - August 16, 2008 08:23 PM (GMT)
i'll go 2-0 Arsenal.

all guns blazing - August 17, 2008 09:29 PM (GMT)
2 - 0 to Arsenal, with Ade scoring both.

Theologooner - August 17, 2008 09:58 PM (GMT)
A must win. We really do need to pick up maximum points from games like these. Failure to do so last season cost us the title.

Marc Overmars - August 17, 2008 10:18 PM (GMT)
Certainly a match we should be looking to take maximum points from.

I'll go for a simple 0-2 win..

Coca Kolo - August 17, 2008 10:56 PM (GMT)
This should be easy peesy fairly squeezy.

Cripps - August 17, 2008 10:58 PM (GMT)
I wont be watching this game but il watch the extended highlights so my votes for MOTM will be as valid as the next mans

Your choices are made up prior to kick off anyway...

The Emirates Gallastico - August 18, 2008 09:10 AM (GMT)
We gonna destroy this :good:

Job's the same as the WBA game, just get the three points. If we win this one then we can look at the Twente second leg as where we gain momentum and build up confidence with the likes of Cesc coming back.

0-1 win I reckon, Van Persie.

arsenal901 - August 18, 2008 07:03 PM (GMT)
3-0 win for us...
1-0 RVP (penalty ade brought down)
2-0 nasri
3-0 eboue

we'll win 5-2.

Spurs Hate La-Sagna - August 19, 2008 01:09 AM (GMT)

Cripps - August 19, 2008 01:21 AM (GMT)
Have we had the PES version of the game yet?

Synergetic - August 19, 2008 01:25 AM (GMT)
I can only see the future the day before the game, I'm afraid.

MOMSBATFISFOBYAC - August 19, 2008 10:01 AM (GMT)
Fulham have bought widely and, arguably, quite well. Despite losing to Hull they were all over them like a cheap suit for the first 20 minutes...

not as easy as it looks

Cripps - August 19, 2008 10:16 AM (GMT)
Just realised that cos its on Sultana, it wont be shown as one of the football first matches for whatever reason so unless i can find some extended highlights somewhere, il have to rely on MOTD

Will it reassure you to know I have Setanta and will be happily watching the whole game?

The player who wins the penalty never takes it, I think.

Really? I remember Ade winning a penalty last season and RVP taking it.

Then someone (I think it was Clichy) won a penalty for us a few weeks later and both RVP and Ade were on the pitch but Ade took it, but meh.

You're right. It's an Arsenal thing

its a bit like how we - every 2nd corner - always take it short..

for no reason whatsoever.

Is Toure fit to play?

I'd like to Silvestre start with Gallas.

djourou did nothing wrong to suggest being dropped for a guy who hasnt played prem football for a year.

I'll be well pissed off if Arsene takes Djourou out of the starting XI.
