:goodpost:
I haven't actually watched any since I tried to take in some of Bound For Glory back in October. And with good reason. APPALLING booking, predictable outcomes, ludicrous storylines, overrated roster(it's clear the better people there - Angle, Christian - have to do the carrying...
Oh, and Curry Man. :haha:
McNamara That Ghost... - August 21, 2008 09:04 AM (GMT)
Curry Man.
I am sure the crowd can identify with a character like that. Especially on a Friday night.

Harsh to call Foley a reject when the main event involves Jeff Jarret...
cesc-fabregas - May 5, 2009 07:40 PM (GMT)
Anyway...
Lashley comes in TNA.
Chris Daniels back in TNA.
Mick Foley now champ.

TNA vice-president and co-founder Jeff Jarrett has had a sensational bust-up with the company.
It follows allegations from a caller on US Radio Show 'Bubba the Love Sponge', who disguised his voice and claimed to be a TNA staffer.
The mystery man said Karen Angle, former wife of TNA champion Kurt Angle, had moved into Jarrett's home along with her two children.
Jarrett, who was the brains behind TNA's inception in 2002, is believed to have been sent home by a furious Dixie Carter, who has the controlling interest in the Nashville-based promotion.
Some reports even suggest Jarrett has been suspended from the wrestling outfit.
Jarrett, who is TNA's head of creative, was not at Sunday's Victory Road pay-per-view event and has also been absent from a number of house shows.
SunSport understands his character has been pulled from TV indefinitely, while Vince Russo, Dutch Mantell and Jim Cornette have been placed in temporary charge of creative affairs.
TNA have refused to comment on the 'personnel matters' but have indicated Jarrett is taking time off for 'personal leave'.
Jarrett and Angle have a colourful past, with their on-screen feud blurring the lines between reality and fiction.
Having been a major part of TNA programming, former WWE intercontinental champion Jarrett took time off following the loss of his wife Jill through cancer in late 2007.
Angle blasted the company in an interview with SunSport in October last year, personally slating Jarrett and labelling TNA as confusing and too dependant on gimmick matches.
This genuine criticism would morph into an on-screen rivalry as Jarrett returned to TV to challenge Angle.
Over time, the feud become increasingly heated with Angle making comments about Jarrett's late wife and his children, which many critics found very disturbing.
Meanwhile, Angle was having his own relationship problems.
He and wife Karen, who was being used frequently on TV in a storyline where Angle believed her to be having an affair with AJ Styles, had a very public split with Karen filing for divorce.
She remained with the company for a short time before being let go.
Angle has insinuated in the past that Karen had an affair with a member of the TNA roster — and in turn has admitted he cheated on her while they were separated.
The fact that Angle is TNA champion and remains with the company while Jarrett is out of the picture places him in a terrific position politically.
Some sources even suggest he may make a play for creative control. Then it would be Angle, not Jarrett, who would truly have 'the Stroke' in TNA.

As Jim Royle rightly put it, 'you don't shit on your own doorstep.' Nice one Double-J...
Angle's contract expires in September too....:

Oh and Tonight , 9PM
On Bravo , Victory Road.
Rors - July 23, 2009 07:54 PM (GMT)
I tried to watch a bit of it..real behind-the-sofa stuff. British Invasion/Team 3D: dull (and they are STILL doing the table gimmick!) , Nash/Styles: bizaarely booked, Joe/Sting: slow (and Taz got NO reaction  ), tbf Angle/Foley was as good as it could be..
Oh and Jenna Morasca/Sharmell (yep, Booker's wife), a late contender for worst PPV match of the decade...
Arshavin F.C - August 2, 2009 07:05 PM (GMT)

Yup, right down to the fact they are being booked so dominantly the 'TNA Originals' just look like utter chumps. Reminds me of 1996-2000 somehow...

Though his lack of usefulness in the ring would have been clear to all by now..Still have nightmares at that excuse for a match with HHH at RR03..

Typical TNA. An arena-wide brawl for absolutely no reason, ripping off a general idea already used by WCW in 1998

The quality we've come to expect put it that way..... plus the backstage polticking, putting his old pals in prominent positions at the expense of those with talent, refusing to job properly...

Might have to watch TNA as it might be entertaining seeing it all fall apart in front of your eyes.
You'd think they'd have done the smart thing and asked Heyman how to get a smaller federation to work...idiots.
