so all wiki tells us is that he's had 15 caps for the French u-21 team in the last year and a half. That'd be the majority of their games then. That's good, as far as it goes (which is not very far at all).

Gunners scout Gilles Grimandi has been running the rule over the Saint-Etienne midfielder and watched him last weekend against Monaco.
Arsenal boss Wenger tried to nab Matuidi, 21, in the summer but St Etienne gave him short shrift.
Matuidi’s current deal runs out in 2011 and he has refused to sign a new one.
St Etienne could now do business next summer for around £10m and Arsenal have asked for first refusal.
Wenger may bring the deal forward to January to bolster a midfield short on numbers.
However, he hopes to have Tomas Rosicky back in December following hamstring problems that eventually needed an operation.
Grimandi has also been monitoring £3m-rated Saint-Etienne full-back Mahamadou Dabo, 21.
