It's hard to believe that this rule change has been agreed or whether the whole panel were blind drunk when they decided they wanted to kill the sport they're supposed to represent!

Where as a driver was rewarded for being consistently good for the whole season this new points system will lead to more crashes as drivers become desperate to overtake. Also the Championship could be decided much earlier, instead of perhaps bringing in double points for the winner the situation could lead to a driver winning the Championship with so many races to go, what happens then?

The best thing to serve Bernie Ecclestone right is for there to be a runaway winner of the championship with this done and dusted with 5 races to go and then he will realize what an idiotic points change this is!

On top of this what do the other drivers have to fight for, realistically a driver could win the championship with 3 race wins and retire the rest of the time, if another driver won 2 races but came second 10 times he would still lose the championship! I mean what sort of morons are the FIA for putting this through!

I can't think of any other sporting body who seem hell bent on killing the sport than the current bunch of muppets, the sooner Max Mosley and Bernie Ecclestone leave the sport the better!
