Lille starlet Eden Hazard has told skysports.com that he is in no hurry to quit the club despite being linked with a big-money move to England. The 18-year-old Belgian has emerged as one of the most highly-rated players in Ligue 1 this season. The likes of Chelsea and Arsenal are said to be very keen on the talented midfielder, whilst Real Madrid and Inter Milan are also thought to be keeping an eye on him. But Hazard is more than happy at Lille - where he has come through the ranks, making his first-team debut in 2007. "It is flattering to see big clubs and I mean very big clubs interested in you," he told skysports.com. "When clubs like that come for you, you can think twice, however I think I am not yet ready for a huge club with so much pressure. "I don't think it is possible for Lille to let me go and I am fully behind that."

Barcelona have joined Arsenal in declaring their interest in Belgian midfield starlet Eden Hazard who is set to leave Lille this summer, according to a report. The Blaugrana are looking to bolster their squad in all areas and not repeat what happened in 2006 when they won the Champions League and then did not add to their ranks. Two seasons without a trophy proved that they should have shaken things up, and technical secretary Txiki Begiristain is well aware of what is required. After numerous meetings with coach Pep Guardiola in recent weeks, Hazard's name has been put forward after the club received various complimentary scouting reports. At 18, the La Louviere-born midfielder has attracted interest from across Europe, with several Premier Leageu sides being linked to him as they hope they could mould him. Arsenal have made their interest known and Manchester United have also had the former Tubize player watched as he broke into the Belgium national team aged just 17. If Barcelona were to secure his services, then they could well choose to loan him back out for a season so that he could continue gaining first-team experience.

Lille starlet Eden Hazard has revealed that he would like to play for either Premier League outfit Arsenal or Primera Division giants Real Madrid at some point in the future. The 18-year-old is regarded as one of Europe's most promising talents and has already won four full international caps for Belgium. The 5ft 7in attacking midfielder has already been linked with a move to a host of European giants, including Barcelona, Chelsea and Inter, but he insists he wants to win a regular berth in les Dogues' starting XI before leaving France. "This was my first season as a pro," Hazard told De Standaard. "I’ve scored and have been playing more than I’d expected. I hope it continues. "Next year, I have to play in every game. That is my aim – to become an undisputed first-team player at Lille. "I have a three-year contract and feel that I have a lot to learn in Lille. "The situation could only change if a club offers €30 million (£26.5m) and Lille were unable to refuse, but for now I ask all the clubs interested to respect my decision: I want another year to develop at Lille. "After that, we will see." When asked whether he has any preferences of where he might like to play his football in the future, he replied, "Real Madrid and Arsenal are the clubs I dreamed of joining as a child. "If I joined Inter or Barcelona and could play football there then that would be very good, but Real and Arsenal are really great and play at a very high technical level." Legendary French midfielder Zinedine Zidane is reported to have recommended the youngster to los Blancos, much to the Hazard's delight. "That was great, Zidane is my idol – the greatest footballer of his generation," Hazard added. "If someone like that praises you, it is heart-warming. It moved me. "I must repeat that it is too early to move. In one or two years I will maybe make the next step. "What’s more, Lille play European football, which is also a good opportunity for me. Getting minutes on the field is what counts from my perspective right now."

Internazionale are planning a move for long-term Arsenal target Eden Hazard. According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter boss Jose Mourinho has sent scouts to watch the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year, who also attracted interest last season from Real Madrid. The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has impressed since making his debut in 2008, turning out 31 times for Lille and picking up four Belgium caps. Judging by recent quotes, Hazard fancies a move to a major league – and Mourinho may have to convince him that Serie A is a better destination than the Premier League or La Liga. "Real Madrid and Arsenal are the clubs I dreamed of joining as a child," said Hazard. "If I joined Inter or Barcelona and could play football there then that would be very good, but Real and Arsenal are really great and play at a very high technical level.” Mourinho indeed appear to have stepped up his efforts to sign the young starlet but looks likely to face stiff competition from Europe’s elite as Hazard looks set to depart the Stade Borne De L’Espoir in the near future.

Premier League giants Arsenal have once again set their sights on Ligue 1 to plunder another up-and-coming star, with Belgian international Eden Hazard of Lille the clubs' latest target, according to Football365. An established first team player with LOSC at just 18-years-old, the winger has excited fans of the northern club with his direct dribbling style. News of his talent soon reached London and Arsenal dispatched Tony Adams and Gilles Grimandi to watch the player in action against Valencia in the Europa League last Thursday, a match in which he was his side’s outstanding player. However, the Gunners are likely to have a battle on their hands if they are to prise the Diables Rouges winger away from France. Not only are Lille considered shrewd operators in the transfer market, but they have all the bargaining chips as Hazard is tied to the club until 2012. The winger attracted a great deal of interest in the summer after a tremendous campaign last season. Many giants of the world game, including Manchester United, Inter and Barcelona were linked with his progress, but he elected to stay with LOSC citing a desire to develop further by playing at a club where he is comfortable. Hazard’s next mission for Lille will be against Nice in Ligue 1 on Sunday. Les Dogues have made a mediocre start to their league campaign, despite boasting European ambitions at the season’s outset.

Arsene Wenger has made Belgian wonderkid Eden Hazard his number one transfer target. Gunners boss Wenger is sending scouts to watch 18-year-old Hazard in virtually every that he plays for French club Lille. Belgian international Hazard, who has already won six full caps, fits the Wenger mould perfectly as he is young, very skilful and is not yet an established star. Hazard plays as an attacking midfielder and can also operate wide and it is understood Wenger is desperate to sign him as quickly as possible. Lille are aware of Arsenal’s interest and will be anxious not to lose their best young asset as Hazard is the reigning Young Player of the Year in the French League. But Arsenal do have money to spend in the next two transfer windows and will be anxious to get their man even if Lille value him at over £6m already. Wenger already has a lot of quality in the wide areas with Andrey Arshavin, Theo Walcott, Tomas Rosicky and fit-again Samir Nasri to come back. But Wenger likes Hazard’s versatility and signing and developing a young player always appeals to the Arsenal manager more than buying expensive established stars. Wenger has also had great success in signing Belgian centre half Thomas Vermaelen from Ajax in the summer and Hazard would feel immediately welcome. Arsenal are also monitoring Troyes striker Sega Keita, 17, who is being watched by Marseille and AC Milan.
