Starts 18th June.

Ach - June 13, 2009 11:12 AM (GMT)
Seen the advert for this.

They are going on about some guy called Rory Mcgrath or something challenging Tiger.

He any good?

tigerthesmurf85 - June 13, 2009 04:37 PM (GMT)
Rory McIlroy.

He's number 17 in the world and about 18. He's pretty good.

Now for the most important sporting event of the week.

http://www.oddschecker.com/golf/us-open/win-market - Odds for the US open.

Tiger Woods favourite. Then Mickelson, Ogilvie, Furyk, Casey etc.

tigerthesmurf85 - June 18, 2009 06:01 PM (GMT)
First day cancelled due to waterlogged course.

McNamara That Ghost... - June 21, 2009 08:01 AM (GMT)
The rain has completely disrupted the tournament, there could be 36 holes today.

adzzzbatch - June 21, 2009 05:32 PM (GMT)
Was gonna watch some of this until I saw where Tiger was.....

Ach - June 21, 2009 05:33 PM (GMT)

Actually Tiger's 8 back.

In fact make that 3 back from Mickleson..

I don't expect to two unknowns at 7 under to survive...I think they'll collapse...leaving the players at 2 under more likely to win...therefore Tiger at 1 over is not out of it.

But I don't think he's enjoying the rain, and when hes less than 100% motivated he won't win.

What a pathetic major.

Dr. Gaius Baltar - June 22, 2009 02:51 PM (GMT)
Woods is making a move. If they fall back any more, he might have a shot...

Elche - June 22, 2009 03:44 PM (GMT)
Tiger got to 3 behind at one point.....by some incredible driving....just incredible.

His putting is only just off, else he would have hit 65 today and won...hes missed by less than an inch 3 times....fantastic golf.

Just too little too late...hes on level par, 4 behind the leader.

I hope a Mickleson win, he lies just 2 behind and playing very well.

Good stuff....but Tiger should have destroyed them this week...God help them if he gets his putting together for the Open, because his driving is the best I've seen from him.

Elche - June 22, 2009 03:47 PM (GMT)
Woods again drives to within 10 ft on the final hole...ends with a par as again he just misses...incredible.....He finishes on Level Par after a 69.

More importantly Mickleson has just driven the par 5 , 13th hole in two...has a put for eagle and a share of the lead.....I had a feeling he would win....because of the emotion going around about his Wife.

Come on Phil......but Ross Fisher of England is in the mix too.

Elche - June 22, 2009 03:57 PM (GMT)
Mickleson eagles 13 and now shares the lead.

Fisher bogies and falls back to 1 Under.

Ach - June 22, 2009 05:35 PM (GMT)
Lucas Glover wins it

Always rated him
