They're doing head-to-heads this season too...
In addition to a public head to head league, you'll be able to set-up head to head leagues with your mates. Every Gameweek there's a real match to be played and temporary bragging rights to be earned!
Optionally you can end your season with a knock-out cup between the top teams, nothing will be decided until Gameweek 38!

I don't understand it either. I think though the GW one we're already in will be in a league format given the message about fixtures commencing from Match Week 1 or whatever it is.

How many people have noticed that Arsenal, Bolton, Fulham, Blackburn, West Ham, Aston Villa, Man City and Everton have all had their gameweek 2 matches postponed? Have too many players from those clubs and you're losing ground next week.
It's quite possible some people will have no more than 4-5 scoring players.
