Franck Ribery puts Premier League on alert. Franck Ribery has put Chelsea and Manchester United on full alert after signalling that he is ready to force a departure from Bayern Munich The France forward is also attracting interest from Inter Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid. Interest in Ribery cooled earlier in the summer after Chelsea and United were informed that the asking price was £60 million, almost double the British transfer record, but the West London club, in particular, have continued to explore the situation. United will consider bidding for Ribery if the price comes down — they also retain a watching interest in David Silva, the Valencia and Spain midfield player.

MANCHESTER UNITED and Real Madrid target Franck Ribery has blasted Bayern Munich boss Luis van Gaal in an amazing deadline-day outburst. France midfield star Ribery, 26, was told he had no chance of getting away from the German outfit - and he was in no mood to pull his punches. He rapped: "It is the first time in my career that contact with the coach is not positive. "I have no trust now and that makes everything much more complicated. I have no feelings with Van Gaal." His words are almost certain to ensure United and Real renew rivalries for his signature when the transfer window reopens in January. Ribery, back in France to join the international squad, added: "It is good to be here. It will be good to be with friends."

BAYERN MUNICH have denied reports they have agreed a deal to sell Franck Ribery to Real Madrid next summer. The France winger was linked with a £40million switch to the Bernabeu earlier this summer but the German side rejected Real's advances. Chelsea were also linked with a move for the 26-year-old French international. However, the German giants have again insisted the winger is staying put. Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: "We haven't made an agreement with Real Madrid about transferring Franck Ribery in the summer of 2010. "This is talk which has come from Spain and France but we will deny it because it's false. "Nobody believed us back in June when we said Franck wasn't leaving, but we kept our word. "He will not leave next year either." Ribery himself admits he is struggling to adapt to life under new coach Luis van Gaal, who took over as Bayern boss in July. He said: "It's the first time that I haven't really felt close to a coach. There's not much feeling between us at all. "Our relationship is professional. It was totally different with Ottmar Hitzfeld, for example. "He was a real joy to work with and the best coach I've known at Bayern."
