Title: Fulham vs Arsenal
Description: 26th Sept, 17:30, ESPN

Marc Overmars - September 19, 2009 03:59 PM (GMT)
No longer a banker fixture is Fulham, will be a tough one.

Hopefully Arshavin is back.

Tough game but we have a bit of confidence now.

Should have Theo and Arshavin back as well.

Them 2 either side of Eduardo :cloud9:

Gubby-Allen - September 19, 2009 07:24 PM (GMT)
Pity this match couldn't have fallen the weekend after a Fulham Europa League match, esp somewhere in Moldova or somewhere, but oh well.

Still, they're 24 hrs after us, away to Man City in the week, but probably irrelevant as it'll be reserves out.

Almunia & Arshavin back & Theo has to be soon too. Fulham don't look quite the side of last year - we should have enough for a 1-0 win, with those back.

Arshavinslittlelegs - September 19, 2009 08:27 PM (GMT)
Rosicky, Arshavin, Walcott should be all back for this one. Hopefully Fabregas is not injured.

Milla - September 19, 2009 11:08 PM (GMT)
--------------Almunia-------

-Sagna--Gallas--Vermaelan--Clichy

-------Diaby---Song----Cesc

---Bendtner---Van Persie---Arshavin

Rosicky and if available, Walcott will come from the bench. Cant see Wenger rushing in both of them. :coffee:

Arshavinslittlelegs - September 19, 2009 11:16 PM (GMT)
Rosicky will start this.....same fixture he suffered his fateful injury in 07/08. Will score :scarf:

Aluminum

Sagna Gallas Vermaelen Clichy

Song

Rosicky Fabregas

RVP Arshavin
Eduardo

Subs: Bendtner, Ramsey, Diaby, Senderos, Eboue, Wilshere, Mannone

Quite a team :whacky:

The Wengerbabies - September 19, 2009 11:17 PM (GMT)
Have I missed something, is Denilson injured?

Shame it wont be like that, Bendtner will probably play and even if it was that front 3 RVP would be in the middle :sulk:

DENILSON
September 17
Denilson sustained a back injury against Manchester City and is likely to miss the next few weeks.
"Denilson looks to be out for a few weeks with a back problem," Arsène Wenger told Arsenal TV Online.

Shows how much we missed him :coffee:

First half of Citeh game.. he didnt play the second half..

I still think Rosicky will start from the bench on this game. 2-1 for Fulham.. :coffee:

Arshavinslittlelegs - September 20, 2009 01:41 AM (GMT)
I do think that (Last season I would never have imagined I would say this) in away games his presence helps us retain possession. Could have done with him against Leige 1st half especially.

Whatever - September 20, 2009 05:04 AM (GMT)
I like fulham a lot, def my no 2 in england

with that being said, we will probably win but I wouldn't be too surprised if he drew

RVP Left Foot - September 23, 2009 01:28 PM (GMT)
Might have some players back for this one

Rosicky (may get 90 min)

Arshavin

Theo

Vela

Injury Time - September 23, 2009 01:39 PM (GMT)
last season this was first game and Fulham flew out of the starting blocks (and still in fine form for home snore draw) and we couldn't pass water let alone the ball <_<
Fulham will attack early doors, need to D E F E N D and then tear them a new one so 0-0

anfield 1989 - September 23, 2009 01:45 PM (GMT)
This will be tough.

Czech Out Rosicky - September 23, 2009 03:50 PM (GMT)
@ ArshLittleLegs

You say we would keep the ball better, at Man City we vastly improved when Tomas came on for Denilson in that game. He offers a bit more in defence but no more than anyone else in keeping possession as most passes are simple and to the nearest team mate.

His injury certainly made Wenger's selection easier with so many midfielders

Would love to see Rosicky in CM with Cesc and Song, and Arshavin Eddy and RVP, i think that is our best team!

anfield 1989 - September 23, 2009 04:25 PM (GMT)
^ Yep. Have we ever played our BEST team? I include our best defence with that midfield and attack you just said above.

The Fulham b/f is going to this. We won't speaking Sat nite one way or the other.

JackTheLad19 - September 23, 2009 07:06 PM (GMT)
Im going to this, will be a tough game though. Fulham are well organised and we couldn't break them down last year. Set pieces we need to be wary of as well. Still we're in great form going forward so reason to be confident.

Although it would be silly to drop Bendtner at the moment. (Yes, I realise he didn't play against Wigan.)

He seems to be in great form - he'll get a goal. :good:

Fulham v Arsenal (1730 BST)

Fulham turned Arsenal over at Craven Cottage at the start of last season but there is a little bit of inconsistency creeping into their game at the moment, despite them beating Everton in their last home game.

With Arsenal, you can see the confidence building up as the season goes on and I can't see them slipping up again this time.

Verdict: 1-2

Arshavinslittlelegs - September 24, 2009 04:40 PM (GMT)
Arshavin is back for this one. :scarf:

JackTheLad19 - September 24, 2009 05:24 PM (GMT)
Theo's back in training, AW not sure if he'll be involved though.

Almunia's still out but sounds like Scfhasojdhgryjrojhiy has a chance of being in goal instead of Mannone

I realise now I've jinxed it, but fuck it, I had a good run.

Having a team that could feature Arshavin , Rosicky and Walcott is enough to get me rather excited about the weekend.
