Title: Flashforward...
McDibbs - September 29, 2009 06:53 AM (GMT)
...does it already have a thread I have missed?
If not I thought Ep1 was okay and the premise is good but with 22Eps in series I want to see more before making final judgement.
TBH it's good to see so many actors from this side of the pond in a Yank production
Ach - September 29, 2009 07:19 AM (GMT)
Its talked about on the tv thread.
Watched the first episode.
I liked it. Whether il stick with it is another matter

Haven't seen it yet. It starts here on Friday. I'm really looking forward to it because I like the plot line and I like Joe Fiennes.
In fact having a Brit in the lead role is the norm for US series. It's incredible ho many they have used recently.
Hugh Lawrie - House
Tim Roth - Lie to me
Damien Lewis - Life
Ian McShane - Kings
Kevin McKidd - Journeyman
Michelle Ryan - Bionic Woman
Sophie Miles - Moonlight
Anna Friel - Pushing Daises
All are the lead role in the series. Although I have to admit the girls are very weak accent wise and the character.
I'm sure there are more out there.
So looking forward to Flash forward..i
Ach - September 29, 2009 07:24 AM (GMT)
And of course the best one of them all
Wentworth Miller - Prison Break
Marc Overmars - September 29, 2009 08:52 AM (GMT)
Made by the creators of Lost, that's enough for me.
Give it a few more episodes first before making any long term judgments.
Michael Westen - September 29, 2009 09:16 AM (GMT)
The fact Brannon Braga is writing for it means the 'creators of Lost' can do one.
The Emirates Gallastico - September 29, 2009 09:29 AM (GMT)
Thought it was pretty brilliant
Michael Westen - September 29, 2009 09:34 AM (GMT)
That's cos Braga knows what the fuck he's doin.
Although i thought it was quite annoying to be honest, definitely something i'll just pick up on dvd and watch all at once.

TEG doesn't get TV over there. He's pretending he's watching it.

Ach - October 5, 2009 09:29 PM (GMT)
Very good episode tonight.
Much more darker and got more deeper in to the characters
Lancastrian Gunner - October 5, 2009 09:37 PM (GMT)
Yeah, was good today.
Building up nicely
Jens' Face - October 5, 2009 10:43 PM (GMT)

I'm liking this a lot too :good:
Ach - October 5, 2009 10:56 PM (GMT)
Yeah.
Good series so far.
Not seen anyone who knows a thing or 2 about decent tv say a bad word about it

Yeah? That's a pretty good accent tbh, given another of the actors is an Aussie, how many people in it ARE American?
Might give Flashforward a bash but there is a part of me that says it was picked by the same people that thought Live From Studio 5 was a good idea so I'm a little sceptical.
Ach - October 5, 2009 11:13 PM (GMT)
5 does have its good moments.
This, the porn etc
Darth Vela - October 5, 2009 11:15 PM (GMT)

Wathced the 1st show last night, and thought it was very very good.
I can see that we're going to be thinking a lot, and trying to unravel the puzzle and whats occurring, and by who.
Joe Fiennes is perfect for that part.
Michael Westen - October 7, 2009 09:13 AM (GMT)
Braga knows what he's doing, have faith.
But, the idea of this getting it's own thread when you're gonna be crowing about SG-Universe instead, does amuse me.
Valkyrie - October 7, 2009 09:28 AM (GMT)
What's that? Stargate?
Meh.
Michael Westen - October 7, 2009 09:42 AM (GMT)
Yeh.
Guarantee it'll be like BSG on here all over again.
Valkyrie - October 7, 2009 09:44 AM (GMT)

I thought stargate was shizite though.

Previously entirely different styles.
But now SG-Universe is just making BSG for SG fans.
