Not far from the enforced take over stake then. It will happen eventually.

The muppet should buy a lot at once instead of increasing his stake little by little, tbh.

thing is, if you go over 30% you have to offer to buy everyone out at whatever the highest price per share you paid is.
It doesnt force them to accept your offer though.

Jack Bauer - October 15, 2009 04:55 PM (GMT)
It's a bit worrying that he still owes money for the shares.
What stops him doing a Hicks/Gillet/Glazer and putting his debt and the interest on top of that, onto the club when he eventually takes over? We're in a healthy position at the moment and are about to see some massive profits once the developments over, the last thing we need is an unnecessary and unwanted leech at the club.
Bloody Americans. :fury: :censored:

Now that is true, bit worrying really
Maybe he is buying the shares just to block the Russian getting in
tech12 - October 15, 2009 11:41 PM (GMT)
if he can't pay for the shares that get him to 30%, I doubt he can pay for the rest of the 70% with cash in the bank.
