Group A
2009-11-14
Morocco v Cameroon
Togo v Gabon
Cameroon and Gabon are already in to the ACON but this will determine who wins the group and goes to South Africa next summer. Cameroon are top by a point and a win puts them through. Togo are favourites to finish 3rd and qualify for the ACON.
Group B
2009-11-14
Kenya v Nigeria
Mozambique v Tunisia
Tunisia lead Nigeria by 2 points. Both already qualified for the ACON. Mozambique favourites to join them
Group C
2009-11-14
Rwanda v Zambia
Egypt v Algeria
Egypt and Algeria already in to the ACON. Algeria lead the table by 3 points from Egypt. Egypt have to win by 3 goals to qualify for the World Cup. A 2 goal win will mean a one off play off match against Algeria at a neutral venue. Zambia should get 3rd and the ACON spot
Group D
2009-11-14
Sudan v Benin
Ghana v Mali
This group is done and dusted in terms of World Cup and ACON qualification. Ghana won it. Mali and Benin have the ACON spots.
Group E
2009-11-14
Burkina Faso v Malawi
Côte d'Ivoire v Guinea
Ivory Coast have won it. Burkina Faso in 2nd and in to the ACON. Guinea need to win and hope Malawi dont to get the final ACON spot

Win the ACON but probably wont qualify for the World Cup.
As long as Cameroon are knocked out early in January.
Speaking of which, need 3 more names.
Go scouting my apprentice
Bunk Moreland - November 9, 2009 02:42 AM (GMT)

SALOMON KALOU could be dropped by the Ivory Coast after fighting with a team-mate.
The Chelsea forward got into a training ground scrap with West Brom defender Abdoulaye Meite before the World Cup qualifier against Guinea.
The bust-up saw both players dropped for that game and the Ivory Coast FA may punish them further by keeping them out of the friendly against Germany in Gelsenkirchen.
Meite admitted: "Things got a little heated but we are human and these things can happen."
Kalou said: "Meite is a big brother, I have apologised and he has accepted it.
"It's a pity that it was between Abdoulaye and myself. We were punished and I have accepted that and that's how we move on.
"You recognise your mistake and you learn — we've talked and it's over."
Meite added: "We understood that we have to preserve the spirit in the squad and so it's all forgotten now."
The Elephants had already qualified for next summer's tournament in South Africa and managed to beat Guinea 3-0 without the warring duo.

Do the top two qualify? One of the top teams will be getting a player back early given Group B (assuming Ade plays for Togo now)
Jens' Face - November 20, 2009 10:06 PM (GMT)
looking at the list of teams, I realize the extent to which the best African footballers are in the prem.
The only true superstar who's not is Eto'o, and tbf he's far outshone by a national teammate who does play in England.
