After much discussion between us mods we’ve decided to allow Rkane back on GW.

We made a mistake in allowing ILT to come back after his racist PM towards Rkane and then another mistake in allowing him to come back after his offensive post about GP’s dad, he created a new username and ‘personality’ and it soon became clear that he wasn't fooling anyone.

We feel that Rkane’s outburst towards ILT and his disability a month ago was a one-off and it came from his frustrations of us mods not dealing with certain situations appropriately. It was out of context with his – Rkane’s – character and personality and he has since made several, genuine apologies to all of us via the GW Mods hotmail account.

What Rkane said that night was unacceptable and appalling, he even acknowledges this himself and as a result is currently serving a ban that will be lifted on the 1st of November, and I think this is the longest temporary ban any poster, certainly an established poster has faced.

Rkane will be allowed to post on GW from the 1st of November and it goes without saying that his posts will be monitored by all five of us mods.

That may have something to do with it although it was against all disabled people and not just ILT.

Plus ITL Mentions his disability all the time, he plays on the fact hes disabled...

He was asked to stop before being banned.



For future reference, we won't be banning regular posters from now on.

I've created a 'SinBin' group which they will be put in if need be while we decide what to do whether that be a temporary or permenant ban.
