Cole is on form right now, and certainly pips clichy.

But Evra is the best in the business right now.

General consensus with a similar thread on Redcafe is that Man Utd would take Cesc, Arshavin and RVP.

Almunia - None of them.

Sagna - United and City.
Gallas - All of them.
Verm - All of them. (Tough at United though)
Clichy - Liverpool and City.

Cesc - Liverpool, United and City.
Song - Liverpool, United and City.
Nasri - All of them. (Tough at Chelsea though)

Arshavin - All of them.
RVP - Liverpool. (There's far more competition at the others, so it's hard to say.)
Rosicky - United, Liverpool and City.

if you were to do it one team at a time I think we would outnumber the players currently at our rivals.

also some of our players will got a lot better as the season progresses, especially returnees like eduardo, rosicky and nasri and youngsters like gibbs, wilshere, ramsey, bendtner, vela, merida et al.

only problem for us will be concentration, defending properly as a team and developing the ability to cover for the suddenly irreplaceable (through lack of alternatives as much as through talent) song.

People still tend to overrate our fullbacks..two seasons ago they were among the best in the league

Nowadays I would easily take Bosingwa and Johnson (for all his defensive faults) over Sagna...based on consistence even O'Shea is not exactly miles behind him

Considering leftbacks, Cole and Evra are among the best in the world, Clichy has been pretty shite for quite a while. At this moment of time I would even argue that a fit Aurelio offers a bit more, especially going forward

Based on this season, I would go with

Gallas and Terry were awesome together before Maureen shipped him out to LB. Yeah I suppose the team does need a proper playmaker, but my Football Manager hat tells me Lamps could do that job.
