Emmanuel Adebayor has reopened his feud with Arsenal's fans by claiming skipper Cesc Fabregas will be the next big star to quit the Emirates.

Defender Kolo Toure followed Adebayor out of north London to Manchester City in the summer and the striker believes Fabregas could be next if Arsenal underachieve again this season.

Adebayor has also accused Arsenal fans of not supporting their players enough.

He said: "I think players like Fabregas will look to leave if they are not in the Champions League, but my focus is all on City now.

Football is more about kicking a ball and tackling. There is a connection between people, players, fans that takes it to the highest level.

"When that is missing, everything falls apart. You need to feel loved and that is what I feel at City."

Adebayor sparked explosive scenes at with his goal celebration after he netted against his old club at the City of Manchester Stadium last month.

He was banned for three matches by the FA for stamping on the face of ex-Arsenal team-mate Robin van Persie during City's 4-2 win.

Yeah right, Whore - your focus is really on City, isn't?

Your only focus is on yourself, you c***.

I was telling a Citeh fan at work the other day that Whore is the kind of player that will be happy if he scores a goal but Citeh lose. He agreed.

Alls I can say is that I am looking forward to seeing it all come crashing down for this tw@t - and it will, inevitably.

The guy never shuts up about us, last time I looked he played for some Middle Eastern owned club....so not sure why he keeps opening his mouth.

He should focus on his fitness as his teammates are doing a pretty good job without him and he might not have a place in the team soon.

Which part of that would you disagree with that? It's obviously true.
As ever, a ridiculous misleading headline.

:goodpost:

He was asked a question by the press. He gave an obvious answer which no-one could disagree with. If top club doesn't stay top club then top players will probably look to leave. Obvious.

The press slap a ridiculous headline all over it and people fall for it.
Again.

He's saying it's more than just kicking a ball around because of the connection between fans and players and the passion in the game.
It's not very well expressed but English isn't his first language. If you have to resort to mocking his less than perfect grasp of the English language then that's pretty pathetic, frankly.

And I'm waiting to hear which part of his initial statement that top players will probably look to leave top clubs if they are no longer top clubs you disagree with. Again, it's obviously true and he did NOT say that Fabregas will be the next star to leave as the nonsense headline suggests.

There are plenty of reasons to think Ade is a twat. This isn't one of them.
Your little vendetta against him is ridiculous.

You surely know how the game works, press asks player/manager a question, they give an answer which states the obvious and no-one could disagree with, the press slap a ridiculous headline all over it which bears little or no relation to what was actually said.

People read the headline and start jumping up and down angrily...while saying they don't care what player says.

It's no secret I can't stand the guy, but it's also no secret he's always talking about us.....if the sentence that doesn't make sense it to be believed he's basically having a sly dig at Arsenal fans for his form again.

It's not the fans fault he doesn't perform it's his, he needs to take responsibility for his own actions, not blame someone else for them.

Even now he's "happy" at his great new club he's still sniping....

As are you.

Well it's posted on a board I post on..it's hardly sniping...had he not been mentioned I wouldn't have said a word about him, so that's rubbish.

He goes out of his way to snipe...if I see something I don't like I'll comment on it as I see fit....that's the nature of a discussion board...you're a mod you should know.

Like I said I don't start threads on this plank.

English is not my first language either...but unlike this idiot I learnt it. He's been in England long enough to be able to speak properly by now, I guess one can't help it if one is thick as pig sh*t :coffee:

As I said before twice it doesn't make sense. :coffee:

then your beef is with the journo, its their responsibility.

you dont see any of them scribing every last 'umm' and 'ahhh' uttered by people like strachan.

Well I don't think they change "quotes" which that clearly is. It's down to him if he hasn't learnt English properly yet.

Football is more than about kicking a ball and tackling. There is a connection between people, players, fans that takes it to the highest level.

That makes perfect sense. I added the word 'than'
