Title: Sunderland - Arsenal
Description: Saturday, 21 November 15:00

Arshavinslittlelegs - October 31, 2009 04:19 PM (GMT)
This comes after the international break....so we might have some injuries.

Kenwyne Jones will be out for this one as hes just recieved a red for violent conduct against West Spam. Lee Catermole will still be injured as well, Turner is out due to a suspension.

Craig Gordern will also be out in all likelihood due to a fractured arm. Fulop will replace him.

It'll be a tough game.

Cattermole and Jones being out should help us. Any chance of Theo being back?

Milla - October 31, 2009 05:05 PM (GMT)
I am afraid Theo is short for this game. He will only come back by the end of November :coffee:

McNamara That Ghost... - October 31, 2009 06:00 PM (GMT)
No need for this thread to be alive. Will unlock it after the Wolves game.

After the international break lets keep the run going

Sadly we wont win though :(

Jens' Face - November 7, 2009 07:47 PM (GMT)
yup, this is one of those very difficult fixtures. 3 points would be a great accomplishment.

We're lucky that Cattermole will be out -- and Cana too? What about Jones, who was missing today?

Ach - November 7, 2009 07:53 PM (GMT)
Jones as well

Marc Overmars - November 7, 2009 07:58 PM (GMT)
Tough game this will be, they're not pushovers.

Plus it's after a break too and we're always a little sluggish after.

3 points here would be a solid achievement.

Syn - November 7, 2009 07:59 PM (GMT)
Theo back for this?

Too hard to predict anything because we don't know what the state of our squad will be after the International Break. Law of averages suggests a couple of our big guns could be gone - RVP/Arshavin/Gallas/Vermaelen/Fabregas

Jones is suspended from this game. Cattermole is still injured? I thought he should be OK after international break. :coffee:

Is that your idea of merging :haha:

JackTheLad19 - November 7, 2009 09:28 PM (GMT)
 at the merging attempt

Would be delighted with a win here. Sunderland look good despite the defeat today.

Two fewer cynical fecks helps (cattermole, Jones). Also if Cana's out...

Damn those internationals

McNamara That Ghost... - November 8, 2009 12:11 AM (GMT)
Merged.

Ach - November 8, 2009 12:12 AM (GMT)

Gordon is out

Who is their second goalkeeper? :coffee:

Fulop

Gubby-Allen - November 8, 2009 12:24 AM (GMT)
If I could be arsed to research this I would, but I can't see the international break being much of a problem - it's not a proper one is it?

Aren't the only sides playing two matches the dozen or so sides in the play-off's and they include NZ, Bahrain, C.Rica, Bosnia etc and the Africans who haven't finished yet?

We've only got the Brazil game haven't we?

Are Belgium, Czech, Holland & Wales even bothering with matches? Three of them haven't even got anything worth playing for.

Ach - November 8, 2009 12:26 AM (GMT)
We'll get a player injure dno doubt but more importantly, no Arsenal for 2 weeks.

Holland and Wales are both in action.

Marc Overmars - November 8, 2009 12:27 AM (GMT)
Isn't there a full round of friendlies too?

Cripps' merge was better tbh :coffee:

Arshavinslittlelegs - November 8, 2009 12:31 AM (GMT)
F sake. Internationals piss me right off. Look at Torres and C. Ronaldo...apparently their respective countries want them to play...ludicrous.

Marc Overmars - November 8, 2009 12:33 AM (GMT)
Ronnie is injured

So whose planning on going to this game, I see that our allocation has sold out and we have a spare ticket.

Arshavinslittlelegs - November 8, 2009 12:52 PM (GMT)
Michael Turner is also out due to a suspension.

Sunderland are a strong team. We'll do well to come away with a point.

Ach - November 8, 2009 07:47 PM (GMT)
Keep Bent quiet.

The other 10 have been average

Der_Kaiser - November 8, 2009 08:40 PM (GMT)
:haha:

Alias, they've drawn away to Man Utd and beaten Liverpool. We won't win it easily.
