Title: Song

Had an immense game today. Covered alot of ground, made some great tackles and his positiong was spot on for some timely interceptions.
Long may it continue.

I felt whoever came out on top in midfield would win the game.
Palacios spent most of the game in Song's pocket.

Not for the first time Song has dominated Palacios.

He's been brilliant this season, really think he's become a very important player for us.

A bit shaky to start but worked out the kinks.
He's always so calm under pressure, seems to glide and slalom with the ball at his feet.
Solid performance

The improvement, well the maturing that we've witnessed in the last 12 months has been great to see. He's becoming as effective in the role, when disciplined, as the best in the league. I'm sure youthful exuberance leads him to want to join the forrays up front and sometimes he gets caught out of position. When he masters that, there's every chance that he will, then we'll have a top player there that'll be first name on the teamsheet.
Again, sterngth of charachter and desire to improve, this lad has shown has been very impressive.

Do you miss him not being able to respond to you?

Song prevented a tottenham goal when keane went through, that says it all about his reading of the game.I always knew he had the potential.
He is now starting to fulfill it.

Song was MOTM for me yesterday, but more importantly, he has proved himself to be one of our key players of the season. This is testament to both his development and his strength of character.

Overall, I think he was good with his defensive work yesterday. And while I realise you can only draw conclusions from what has happened, it is a game of very fine-margins. That unnecessary corner he gave away early on - Tottenham score and we'd be annoyed with him.
I also think he was made to look better because Arshavin, in particular, was tracking back a lot. Usually, under the 4-3-3, Song and Fabregas are often left exposed but with Arshavin playing more as a midfielder than a forward, it gives us more bodies to fight for the ball on the half way line.
I'd like to see some more aggression from him, though. He seems athletic enough to intimidate and hurt opponents a bit more. A couple of late challenges along with a few of his usual timely interceptions would make him the ideal player for us.
