Title: Soldiers turned away for not being smartly dressed

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics...-leave-bar.htmlThat's pathetic. That Tiger Tiger is a shithole. I've been there in trainers before so to turn away soldiers on the basis that they weren't dressed smartly enough is ridiculous.

not good behaviour by them tbh, the soldiers deserve better and the owners need an injection of patriotism and common sense.

I was always under the impression those serving in the armed forces were asked not to wear their dress uniforms out anyway.
But shit happens.

There's often more to these stories than seems immediately apparent, like groups of soldiers going in places previously, getting hammered and trashing the place.

For example:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/lincolnshire/news/200..._drinkers.shtmlWhy shouldn't people be banned if they're being rowdy and spoiling things for everyone else? Their profession is irrelevant.

Thought it was something important for a second.
They got turned away from a bar? Big deal

I agree some soldiers get rowdy and like to blow off steam, but the majority of times i've been out and seen trouble involving anyone in the services, it's 'civvies' giving it the big one over absolutely nothing.
And i'm pretty sure that's why i'm pretty sure they're told not to wear their uniforms (dress or otherwise) when going out.
