Title: our next PL game against Wolves
Description: is important because.....

Gooner in Nipon - November 3, 2009 04:37 AM (GMT)
IMO opinion we need to get a result against Wolves

with Chelsea and ManU going up against each other, it is the perfect chance to catch up on one of them or both in the event of a draw and still hold a game in hand!!!

we missed one chance against WHU, with a win against them we could have been 1 point behind Utd with this week's fixtures looming....

as much as we would like we are not going to win every game so against the likes of Wolves it is vital we leave with a win!

We have to win against the bottom 10 away and at home. That is how the mancs won it last season and there does seem to be a concentrated effort from Arsene to make sure the team doesn't become too complacent against the bottom half teams.

Especially after throwing away two points against the Hammers. I hope those two points don't come back to haunt us at the end of the season.

not so worried about the points coming back to haunting us but annoyed to hell about losing them!

could be argued that Burnley are better than ManU!!??

last season's match against Hull

what other games last season did we really mess up?

last season's match against Hull

what other games last season did we really mess up?

Too many - Sunderland, Fulham and West Ham at home - all 0-0.

Villa away 2-0 up, drew 2-2 (how familiar is that?), Stoke (away. lost), Spuds at home - 4-2 up, drew 4-4.

That's 14 points tossed away :fury:

Burnley are better than Wolves and at home are pretty damn good (see their record at home). Wolves are sh*t everywhere they play :good:

We should win but it wont be as predictable as you seem to think it is.

I think what the OP is saying is that it is important because we're guaranteed one of Chelsea and Man Utd will drop points, not that we should just aim to win, like any other game.

Yeah and they needed an offside goal to get them back in it in the 1st place.....guess luck can help even the poorest teams.

If we fail to beat them there will be some harsh words said on here as should be the case. Wolves have come up from a lower division, haven't spent any money and look very ordinary.....prime relegation candidates the way I see it.

i will go for .
wolves vs Arsenal 1-3
chelsea vs Manu draw or a win for manU,
the table shud be like this.

Chelsea ------28pts
ManU--------- 26pts
Arsenal------.25pts
or like this

ManU---------28pts
Chelsea ------27pts
Arsenal------.25pts

isnt bad at all, if u consider, chelsea visiting The Grove soon.

a win for chelsea wont be good for us,
Chelsea -----30pts
Arsenal -----25pts
ManU--------25pts
5pts is too much even if we have a gamen in hand.
