Title: Spurs logic

Flava Flav - November 3, 2009 09:23 AM (GMT)
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp will use goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes's mistakes against Arsenal as evidence he should launch a January bid for Portsmouth number one David James. (Daily Express)

So you are going to replace one keeper who is equally capable of surreal saves and completne fuck ups with another older version.

Also is spurs are as good as Arsenal why is Jermaine Jenas getting a game?

Easy, he's their Diaby :good:

According to Glory Glory many Spuds are still talking themselves up for a top-4 finish.

Tbf, Liverpool are not looking so good atm.

Grebbo - November 3, 2009 01:15 PM (GMT)
Here's one for ya:

Who would you rather finish 4th - City or Spurs?

I think I want City to fail mor than Spurs :yikes:

Let's hope Liverpool pull their finger out.

McNamara That Ghost... - November 3, 2009 01:43 PM (GMT)
Eurgh, that is one choice I hope doesn't need to be made.

I don't think I could tolerate Spuds in the Champions League, even if they got knocked out in qualifying.

Grebbo - November 3, 2009 03:48 PM (GMT)
So we're cheering Liverpool on then?

Not easy is it.

Coney - November 3, 2009 04:27 PM (GMT)
As long as we are at least 3rd, I'm not overly excited about who comes lower down. (waits for edit). However, until the fat lady sings, I'm hoping for 1st. :)

Syn - November 3, 2009 04:34 PM (GMT)
I'd prefer Liverpool to finish 4th ahead of Man City and Tottenham, by some margin.

But nevermind 4th, they'll probably finish 1st.

All those defeats skew the stats. Take the 5 league defeats away and they're unbeaten.

easy

Aston Villa :tiphat:

Arshavinslittlelegs - November 3, 2009 10:26 PM (GMT)
Aston Villa or Everton for 4th.

Want the Scouse to fail, because they're deluded, bitter muppets.

Want the spuds to fail cause they're spuds.

City to fail so we can :pal: at Greedybayor, Abu Dhabi sheikhs and the City fans for being big mouthed, upstarts.

BTW Arry is way overrated.

Ach - November 3, 2009 10:28 PM (GMT)
Man City.

Dont want MON in the CL

Xaviola - November 4, 2009 09:37 AM (GMT)
My order of choice would be:

Villa
Liverpool (it would be City here but I want Adebayor to suffer)
City
Spurs

So 48 hours after getting a beating from us and what are the Spuds talking about?

Lasagne 2006

"Time to get to the bottom of this once and for all..."

http://www.glory-glory.co.uk/forums/1/7533...ead.aspx#753321

:haha:

Oh what a wonderful day that was.

I reckon their mob were just overcome with nerves and literally shit themselves. It was the biggest game for their club for 50 years. They weren't exactly known for having winners in their side. If any wrong doing occurred I'm sure Levy/Lewis would have hired the best to nail someone.

:haha:

if someone is going to edge liverpool out Id much rather it was spurs than city.

1) city :pal:
2) liverpool :pal:
2) watching spurs get assraped by FC zurich on a wednesday and then seeing wolves take sloppy seconds on saturday in the league :pal: :pal:

If I remember rightly only one of two first choice players were affected, most of the rest were squad players.
Basically, they bottled it.
