In the good old days of 606, as i'm sure many of you will remember, there was a board called, 'Discuss 606'.

On that board, you could post threads asking questions of the mods. Now i know on this forum, we have the pm function, but i thought it may be more entertaining beneficial, if we were to see the conversations unfold. You know, in the interests of transparency etc.

:lol: it was a lot of fun, the fact you had fans from all PL clubs made it brilliant....there's also the fact replies were almost instant!

I can remember it being very enjoyable, the downside was the fact the board kept falling over every 20 minutes!

They were a victim of their own success, didn't have the resources either in terms of server capacity or mods to run the place properly and frankly the modding was pathetic. They let the WUMs run amok and closed threads which had sensible discussions in [I remember one time 'Sir Jack' :rose:, some Chelsea fan and me were discussing the role money had played in Chelsea's success, all sensible discussion, and then BAM, someone who went around complaining about Sir Jack's posts did so and it just got closed :doh: ]

There was a guy on there called Midlands Gooner who i loved to talk football with. He signed up here but never really posteed.

Not really. I tended to stay on the Arsenal board with the occasional trip to yours, Spurs and Newcastle.

We have our own pet Spud on here of course, Lennon25, but it's not the same :(
