Title: G(undam) Generation series
Description: Gundam + Strategy + Customization = !!!

A strategy game series born in the years of the NES/Famicom but only really hitting its stride in the Playstation era, SD Gundam G Generation is a tactical grid battle game with animated/voiced cutscenes for battle sequences.

The game is much like Super Robots Wars, Fire Emblem, or the Advance Wars series. You control a squadron, either consisting of original characters, series characters or a mix of both depending on which G Gen you play, and they pilot whatever vast army of mobile suits you can build, steal, or earn.

In the latest incarnation, G Gen Spirits, the game covers the vast timeline of Universal Century, from the Original Gundam series, to Stardust Memory, to Char's Counterattack, to Crossbone Gundam, to V Gundam, and most of the in-between series and sidestories.

Other G Gen games like Neo or G Gen DS also involve AU series like Wing, G or Seed. G Gen Seed is notorious for being a heavily-Seed based G Gen Neo sequel, with the other series all playing second string to Seed. Neo and Seed are also the only 3D entries to the G Gen series as well(well, there's also Generation of CE, but that's a bit complicated matter.)

Anyway, in my current game of Spirits, I've completed the following series:

Gundam
MS IGLOO
08th MS Team
Blue Destiny
Lost War Chronicles
Space: To the End of a Flash
0080: War in the Pocket
0083: Stardust Memory
0083: The Mayfly of Space
V Gundam

Currently, I've started Z Gundam: A New Translation's chapter. Indeed, this time Z Gundam has the movie incarnation.

I've got the likes of Char Aznable, Johnny Ridden, Cima Garahau and Chronicle Asher in my squadron(though I only really use Cima and Detrov Kossel religiously.) I've got units ranging from the ExS Gundam and FAZZ from Gundam Sentinel to the Hi-Nu Gundam and Nightengale from Char's Counterattack: Beltorchika's Children to the GP03 Dendrobium from 0083.

Great stuff.
