Wow, pretty amazing there is no Meng Huo Topic yet.
Well anyways, although his moveset is far from really good, he is really powerful and his Musou is just brutal and in MO, he has that powerful R1 smash-smash-smash attack. :)
I like his personality, he may appear gruff, but he is a very nice guy who loves his land and people whos scared of his own wife. ^_^

im guessing one reason for his lack of topic-ness is because very few people actually like to use him :lol: but yeah, his personality isnt that bad...seems to fit his image as the nanman leader...i like it...but to an extent :rolleyes:

Surprised also. Just how there wasn't a Zhang Fei topic either until a few months ago.

He is fun, though I would personally wouldn't say ''I got to try Meng Huo out straight away when I get the game...!''

His musou is my favorite attack of his since he just goes on a rampage and takes it out on the floor. Now I know why the floors always shaking in Dynasty Warriors! :o

Also yes, he is frightened of his wife, and thats strange because of the size of him. So he must know to respect her.

I adore Meng Huo and the dynamic he has with his wife. He's a big burly King, but he honestly loves her (one of the few cases where the husband's reciprocation of feelings can't be debated at all), AND really cares about protecting his people from outsiders.

Overall he's just a really awesome benevolent sort of King with a really nice, powerful move set.

Avuneon really took to him in Orochi (He'd played Samurai Warrior games before but no Dynasty Warriors), so Zhu Rong and Meng Huo have become our favorite couple to play together as. Too bad he's WAY too skinny to cosplay Meng. XD

Yes, they love each other. And for some reason I can't easily give the proof that Zhuge Liang and Yue Ying feel the same. Though you can see it clearly with SSX and Liu Bei and in Cao Pi and Zhen Ji. Though with the latter its not so apparent in DW6, so perhaps we'll see more with Cao Pi in Special.

He was my first character, and hewas great back in the days of 3:XL.

He was strong, funny, and lovable.

However, i think that was his best incarnation.now i prefer Zhu rong.

Still, he should have been in 6.

but seriously, i love Meng, oddly enough his being slow really only extends to his foot speed. he's quick enough for a big guy, especially with Agility in WO. he's got a great VA and always has the best and most comical cutscenes. KOEI has really done themselves a disservice by removing the Nanman from the game, they were an important part of Shu rise to power. and they were brilliant comic relief in a game that often takes it's self far too seriously.

I cant believe there was never a topic on the most underrated character in the series.

Funny guy, who loves his wife, his land, and his people. Yet he is scared of his wife to a point, she can be bossy at times ^_^

Excellent ground pound moves that clear a crowd, and one of the most fun and best crowd clearing musous in the game. Call him slow all you want, but his C1 makes up for his walking speed...thats what its there for in case most of you didnt know :mellow: But yeah, I like playing with this guy more than a brute like Lu Bu.

I adore Meng Huo and I miss him.

I'll be honest - in the Nanman Legends stage in DW5XL, when he brought out the Juggernauts... and at the end when he was like 'Thank you, everyone! And thank you too, Zhuge Liang.' - I almost started crying. It meant that the peaceful existence that Nanman had and the positive relationship they had with Shu was really over, since Shu was gone. :lol:

Couldnt have been happier when i read he got the chop from 6, just wish Zhang Jiao and Dong Zhou had joined him, but they cut a fav chara of mine instead in Jiang wei O_o
only thing he had goin for him was his Musuo, if/when there is a Xl pack coming for 6 i cannot see him and his mrs makin a return since Zhuge Liang has already had a Musuo created, wouldnt seem right havin a nanman lvl and Liang not havin it in his Musuo mode.

Meng Huo was great.
I would spammed his C1 to make-up for his speed.

And yeah, his musou was also my favorite attack.

i like Meng Huo in the games he was cool i liked his musuo and he was a cool character to be slow but strong i think dw3 was the best version of him

I like Meng Huo since he is one of those characters wielding a unique weapon.
Although Meng Huo is slow, his C1 made up for it.(Try running away from Lu Bu in Chaos mode without using C1, not that much of a good idea.)

I love how in DW3, Meng Huo blows up a tiger with his high tech explosive gauntlets, not to mention they somehow reappear back on his hands.:lol:

DW3 Meng Huo was my favorite out of all the others ones.

i loved the quote from dw3 when u beat him for the third time i think where a soldier goes flee king then u just hear a squeel and he says oh sorry i laugh everytime i hear it
