o lawd is dat sum lulz?
Anyway, yes South Ossestia was officially still part of Georgia. So officially they were still part of the same country.
But the nation of South Ossetia hates the Georgians and their goverment. After numerious terrorist-like attacks by South Ossetian seperatists you'd think everyone would realise that they don't F'in like each other.
And as the guy with the large hat who was shot in a theather said;
"A house divided amongst itself cannot stand"
Pressing militaristic action towards public targets was also disgusting. Shooting missiles at a capital with citizens in it?
srsly, as low as Terrorism. For both sides.

And while it is obvious that Russia did not get involved because of the reasons it stated, and their reaction was supposed to be pressing alot of pressure on the UN to solve the conflict;
Everyone knows every single goverment on the modern world is made out of dis-honorable lying self-servants. Every goverment. No exceptions. Every goverment would have done the same would it be in Russia's position.
Or atleast something similiar, since Putin has more balls than every world leader on this planet together.
Honestly I'd be rather pissed off too when the world superpower wants to set up missile defenses close to your border, does that tell you that you're trusted? Trick question.
Being surrounded from all sides by a former enemy is not very comfortable either.
(The former enemy I'm referring to is the NATO)

And so is the West for getting all nationalistic and biased because of this. And so was the entire conflict, and all intentions and actions carried with it.
