OK, so I fought on the French side at the Battle of Orleans. Why do I still have to keep on playing these horrible boring English storymissions (like helping Falstof escape, like helping Talbot against the big French siege)? I thought the Barkeep said we could choose our own path by now? Or am I missing something?

All I want to do is fight a French story battle again, haha.

i think it does that, so that you get to meet and see the stories for all the generals, on both sides...and even the mercs stories :)
and to answer your question in your other topic, so it can be closed...yes, it is possible to only meet someone for the first time untill late in the game, for me, that included Harkwood, Shakti, and i guess William.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm a French-favouring mercenary, haha. While France has its share of lame characters (Jean, lol, who's that??), the other characters (Joan, You Ji) make France my home team.

Just did the French march to Reims mission. I wonder if most people found it boring... even I did. The problem with a lot of the English missions I find is that they're either normal missions with an indefinite time period, or they're like the one where you help Branwyn defeat the nobles. I didn't like that one.

yeah, when i was still doing to story (finished it now) i was mainly French, since im not a real fan of the English :rolleyes:

yeah, im sure that all story based missions have a time limit of indefinate...so you can just keep on trying untill you get it :) there are quite a few of the missions that can be quite boring...take William's story for example :rolleyes:

Yeah the only two characters I really like in England are Edward and Phillippa. The Iamari/Henry Percy story missions were easily the most boring. Also when the King of england arrived early in the game. That was horrible.

BTW, what is Joan on? Does she have like some sort of shortened meter when it comes to Bladestorming? She's bladestorming at least every other attack which is weird.

lol, the only i really like in England are Fastolf and Phillippa...but thats ok...the english are arrogant...so im fine with hating the others :rolleyes:

i dont know...i havent really fought with her in a while, and the last time i fought her...it was over fairly quickly...just one blast and then activate dead shot, and then sniper shot...and its all over...just too quickly :rolleyes:

Which is the most uber squad? I heard there was a certain horseman who was immune to arrows??

I dunno, the game makes it out that the English are invading French soil, so I'll go for French, lol

yeah, it was the english invading the french...thats how it went historically, and since all the battlegrounds are French, and no battles ever take place on English soil...its just the way you said :)

In my opinion, the Yuniceri and Fusileers are the best, when at high levels, since...if you didnt already know...im a rifleman at this :P

I bet your squads would own mine; I am trying to work on elephants and swords, and currently my specialty is the horse w/ lance or the halberds like North China horsemen. I'm a fan of close-quarters, not because it's better than the archers and shooters (because it seems they're not :P), but because I think it fits my character a lot. Maybe when I make a new character I can concentrate on shooters, haha.

I also think the French are better dressed. XD. Although I suppose Phillipa makes up for the entire English camp, seriously. I wish she had more of a story.
