Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hour Glass is a sequel to the LOZ: WW. Immedietly after the defeat of Ganon Link embarks once again with Tetra and her crew. However, this time while the crew sails through the sees they stumble upon a huge mist and things started to get foggy. All of a sudden a ghost ship appears and with the rush of excitemement and "hopefully" some treasure Tetra decides to investigate the ship. Unfortunately, the ship sails away with her on board and Link while trying to go after her grabs on the edge of the ship, but falls on the water. You end u[p washed ashore and this fairy named Ceila finds you. You become quicke friends, but unfortuantely she lost complete memory of her past. She takes you to her master Oshus the Wise(who found her) and he tells you of a great sea captain(yea right!! <_< ..more like a arrogant chicken) named Linebeck. You meet Linebeck who in other words is your guide/buddy on the ship. What is this Hour Glass? it's basically a hour glass which protects you from evil for a period of time when you go into the Ocean King's temple/Maze. The Ocean King's temple is devised of floors which you have to go through and find treasure maps that tell you where certain temples and key items are. If there is anything esle you wish for me to say go on and i shall respond as soon as i can ^_^
Gameplay: 9/10
basically your stylus is everything. From how you move and how you use your weapons. Plus while you are controling the ship, you tap on the DS screen to fire cannons. Fishing draw down to "pull" the fishing line and draw small circles anywhere to reel the fish in.
Graphics: 8/10
The graphics look exactly like the Game Cube graphics which I first hated, but then got used to it.
Music: 10/10
come on. Music in the Legend of Zelda series have always been..well...legendary..lol
Story: 10/10
Story is excellent with plenty of surprises and memorable moments. :)
Challenge: 9/10
If you hate using your stylus then I reccomend not getting it lol. Using the stylus can be quite frustrating especially when you're doing the target practice and fishing. The puzzles are quite challenging though, especially in the Ocean King's Temple.
Replay value: 5/10
After you finish it...welll..you're pretty much done -_-
Overall: 9/10
possibly the best Zelda for the DS yet. Plenty of adventure, puzzles, temples, and even some familiar faces are back. The game is quite challenging, but i was kinda disappointed on the temples. They took around only a half hour to beat.
There are other Zelda's on the DS?
But seriously, i'm really enjoying this game, as it is fun to play, whixh many other games now adays are not.
And here I thought nobody cared about this game. If you've gotten the magic box thing unlocked by going through that cave, wanna trade stuffs?
I'm enjoying it too. I'm at the Goron Dungeon...
