personally i hate camels, i don't have the book for them yet, and i can't seem to find they're weakness... perhaps archers work on them. :) I never use archers much. Tell what you think about camels ;)

i havent seen them as of yet, because i havent been playing the game for that long, but untill i do see them, i wont be taking any sides :P

hoho, dude, they are sooo annoying. you don't want to see them ill just tell you that... they're the anti-cavalry, cavalry and all mellee weapons gets destroyed by them.... at least as far as ive seen so far... and the riders of the camels use scimitars

well for me i dont really care i charge in them whit my sword and i kick therer ass : )

i finally versed the camels, man they are annoying, but as long as i have a unit with a shield, im ok, since i stun the main man, then gang up on the main one controlling the pack, then they all retreat :P

Seen my first share yesterday and they are a pain, I know. However, pikes and javelin throws work wonders against them. It also would be a good idea to use an anger pennon as well before unleashing the spears.

I don't have the book for them yet personally, though. Just only really done the 3 star first few battles and on 25 hours play time.

Once I was done with those Camels (100% Growth, I mean), I stopped recruiting them. I much prefer to use Cavalry (especially the Lance-type Cavalry).

The camels sometimes have their uses, though. Whenever there are allied squads nearby (with a Camel squad), and when there's a Cavalry-type enemy general, I use that. But then, again, there are these Crossbows/Heavy Crossbows that the allied squads have sometimes. -_-

They are inferior to the horse. Seriously, just compare the speed...In a Camels versus Horses situation all you would have to do is use an attack pennant like Shiva's Wrath or something. Plus your Horses Book will always be very high levelled throughout the game.

Unless you don't use cavalry because at the beginning of the game, they're inferior to swords?

I find that camels >>>>>>>>>> horses. They're not necessarily as speedy as a cavalry unit, but they're far more powerful and have better endurance.

I prefer Lance Cavalry over Camels but Camel over other kinds of Cavalry. Speed is not a problem with me, at least they have Charge (unlike horsebow...).
Fighting them is a pain though, I normally try not to get close to them.

id way rather the lancers than the camels, cause when ever i use the camels, i always seem to get killed, but i guess i should just do some really easy levels with one star just to level them up :P

Killing them is easy, once you have the rifles, especially when mine are at level 70 :P just one blast, or sniper, and i can knock out a few squads :P

Killing anyone is easy with a high level ranged unit ;)

i LOVE CAMELS they are the best thing next to horse units. they can kill everything including elephants.

i generally spend lots of time leveling them up, at least i get them up to level 55. after that they just get too powerfull for the game guah ha ha.. i'm tellng you they rock..
