Her face always bears a large smile, something that has been known to warm many a heart. Her skin tone is slightly tan, and she loves being out in the sun. She has a slightly long neck, small thin hands with long fingers. Caroline is not a woman of great wealth, but she comes from the upper middleclass and can afford many beautiful gowns and dresses. Though, she doesn’t have too much a liking for extravagance and often chooses simplicity before over-detailed. Her dresses show this. However, her dresses are always beautiful and suit her well. She enjoys wearing an assortment of different light blue dresses, something which gives her a sense of being kind and friendly.

She pays everyone and everything with great respect and kindness. She loves life, and goes by the phrase “carpe diem”.
Caroline pays great attention to detail, making sure that everything is perfect, before she leaves her home. When she’s alone, she is often unhappy and sometimes she will break down and cry. The reason for this is her never ending quest for being perfect, yet always being critical towards something when looking in the mirror. Though, she would never show any of these emotions amongst people. Sometimes she gets envious of women who are beautiful and often wishes to be like them. Caroline is an extremely hard worker when it comes to things she’s interested in, though she’s sometimes lazy when it comes to other things. She is very down to earth,a bit stubborn and has always wished to see the world.
History: Caroline is the only child of Christopher and Clarissa Hart. The Hart family has for generations been a hard working family, bringing nothing but good to the community of Lindebo. Over the years, there has been a family wealth building up, and when Caroline was born, her family had moved to the upper-middle class and had become quite wealthy. Caroline’s father worked very hard as a lawyer, and he taught her a lot of work ethics. Because of the increase in their family fortune, Christopher and Clarissa could finally realize their dream of giving their child an education and hired a governess for Caroline at age 8. Caroline’s governess, Sarah Rutherford, was a young and intelligent woman, who soon became one of Caroline’s best friends. Sarah gave Caroline a wish to learn. Sarah was not particularly strict, but she gave her lessons meaning and depth. This made Caroline want to excel and make Sarah proud of her, as well as her parents. She surprised everyone, even Sarah at how well she knew the material. When Caroline was 18, she finished her lessons with Sarah. She had now gotten an education in literature, Latin, history, mathematics and etiquette. Though Sarah’s services were then ended, Caroline still kept in touch with her former governess and still good friend.
Caroline’s parents loved her deeply and spent as much time with her as possible. Her mother taught her embroidery and a strong bond was made between them. Her father loved to play the piano, from lessons when he was young and he taught this to his daughter. He would always leave assignments for her, when he couldn’t be there to teach her himself. Caroline didn’t mind, it was a way to connect with her father besides being able to play the beautiful instrument. She still loves to play the piano to this day. Over the years, she became very attached to her parents. One would think that being an only child, she would be spoiled, but that was clearly not the case. Caroline became an extremely hard worker that her parents could be proud of.
When Caroline was 25, she fell in love with the eldest son of a good friend of her fathers who was 31 years old, James Dursley. Their relationship blossomed over the three years it lasted. The two became engaged and both families were ecstatic. However, the relationship ended abruptly when Caroline had turned twenty-eight. James had become ill with tuberculosis and died 34 years old. James’ death broke Caroline’s heart. And though it’s been two years, she’s just now beginning to open up to other relationships. She still wakes up in the middle of the night crying over James, though and the thought of him still haunts her.
