IC Information
Name: Beatrice Alexandria Harper (She always insists upon being called Bee when in the company of friends, or men she finds particularly charming.

Avatar: Romola Garai

Occupation: .. You must be joking.

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Appearance: Willowy, and thin with a womanly figure tainted by the consistancy of corsets, Beatrice's figure is truely her favorite thing about herself. Bee developed qutie early in life, and never failed to see so.

Besides a lovely build, Beatrice is rather found of her eyes which are large and shine with a tainted innocence and a lovely sea-green. She's a very big fan of make-up, and fine french perfumes, and has a very impressive collections of the bottles. Bee's hair is a very luxurious shade of brown somewhere between dark chocolate, and near-ebony. It's usually styled up, with a long pony tail of loose ringlets hung over her shoulder, but only amongst the company of casual friends, (or her latest conquest) is Beatrice's hair down and loosely curled.

Bee's skin is a very pretty and smoothe creamy white, which is rarely touched by blemishes or other things of the sort. Beatrice is never really one to blush, however there are instances when someone may catch her off guard, or a room may be stuffy. Although, that is what mastering the art of the fan is for, is it not?

Personality: She's quite the gossiping goose, and greatly dislikes being left out of anything containing potential interest towards herself. She's arrogant, and loves to use innuendo on a regular basis. Bee is terribly gifted at the fine art of charming, and flirting, and has hosted one too many gentleman callers only interested in one thing. As of now she is very single, but certainly not called upon.

Beatrice is very outgoing and loves for people to be envious of her, however she does not strive to make this her intention. She is graceful and composed when needed, however her reputation proceeds her, and most can see past her curtsies and delicate smiles. Most doubt her, but would never go out of their way to wrong her. Her father is a powerful man high on the status chain, and well-respected in the high class community, and they know this; Never go against someone with power for you will immediately regret doing so.

Bee has always been the rebellious child who ignores her mother in public, and has no regard for the opinions about her. Balls and extravegant parties come as second nature to Beatrice, who was brought up into high society and class-systems from a horrendously early age learned to love being adored, envied, and admonished all at the same time by those who were 'below' her.

History:
- Beatrice was born to her extraordinarily wealthy parents in the mid/late-1800's
- From a young age, she was introduced to, and expected to adore the rules of society and the wealthy.
- At 15, Beatrice was introduced into society, although her father has not found a man he deems worthy of her. Which refers to not having enough money to sustain her properly.
- By 17, Beatrice was a functioning member of society who gossiped with the older women (who secretly did not like her) and made friends with girls her age or older who matched her snitchy outgoing personality
- At 18, Bee's father moved them across the city into an even more exclusive part of Lindebo, where she met a man who seemed to be the one that might propose marriage.
- Well, at 19, Beatrice hasn't heard from him since.
- Although, Bee has recently been re-acquainted with her cousin on her mother's side Alice Alexander.
- Alice's mother, and Beatrice's mother are sisters who were brought up to find rich and wealthy husbands who would take care of them and introduce them to high society. And with the good looks to aid them, they did just that.
- Beatrice's great grandfather was part of the railroad explosion across Europe, and the Harper family is that of old money.
- Currently, Beatrice and Alice are quite good friends, which is surprising because of their contrasting personalities. Frankly, it seems that Alice gets a kick out of Beatrice's vivacious personality, and Bee gets a good laugh out trying to corrupt the poor dear.
Strengths:
• Seduction
• Charming others
• Waving her fan in just the right way to get the attention she desires
• Telling engrossing stories about things that are not that interesting to beginwith.
• Corrupting innocent little girls
• Meeting the eyes of men to get them to approach her
• Pulling off wearing risque dresses
• Holding her liquour
Weaknesses:
• Being entirely serious
• Her impulsive nature
• Overly chatty
• Flirting with inappropriate people
• Playing an instrument
• She sometimes worries about her appearance.. although rarely. Beatrice is very arrogant.

Ukay! Well, she certainly is Alice's opposite. It should be interesting to see them played together.

There are a few things here, however, that are a bit too extreme for Victorian England. We let some of it slide with Madeline Smith because she was from the US South, but Victorian England was not really a place where it was accepted to be scandalously seductive or to push the limits of propriety when it came to clothing and socializing. A lower-cut dress would mean that the collar ends two inches below the chin (unless you're at a ball). Staying out till one in the morning would be absolutely unheard of for a high class girl like this.
QUOTE
Most who know her, and are not personally acquainted might refer to her as Scandolous. Beatrice is very well educated of this, and absolutely loves it.
A girl like that certainly wouldn't have many callers. Only the ones in it for sex.

So you see... You'll have to either tone down the scandalous seductiveness, or realize that it would be a weakness for her in this time to be a scandalous person. For the first one just make her a bit more... subtle. She can be chatty and vivacious, sure, and even good with the gents, just... She needs to be a bit less like a 2007 party-girl. If you choose the second alternative, put "scandalous" in her weaknesses and edit out the part about her many callers and suchlike - add a bit about how rumors and appalled looks would have affected her (and her relationship to her family).

Oh, and the guy... The one who intended to marry her... Is he another PC?

Alright, I hope I edited to your liking :D And the guy was not a PC by the by.

Hmm. I see you’ve toned her down a bit. I’ll approve that as long as you understand that she is a disgrace. She is an embarrassment to her family; she can get along with Alice, but probably the rest of Alice’s friends would shun her. Being a scandalous flirt is not a good thing in Victorian England.

I would be interested to know how she learned to hold her liquor, that being a substance never ever given to ladies… ;)

Then, also you’d need to remember that Alice is more important than her, and she should be aware of it. Her family is not peerage, and anyone with any direct relative that’s a peer is more important. And you’ll need to remember the bit about risqué dresses; that pretty much means that she might be wearing only two petticoats and the neckline shows her throat. Risqué is very, very relative here.

Yep, I get that. :)
