From Wednesday to Saturday I will be up in exciting Fairbanks, with our school's jazz band and choir, attending a jazz festival (see title). I'm pretty sure this won't inconvenience anybody too terribly much, but if it does, I do apologize. See you all when I get back. :)

Yay, I'm back! I'm sorry, I totally underestimated how long we were going to be staying up there (mostly because I'm dumb) and we only got back to the school about an hour ago.

Anyways. It was, in addition to being a jazz fest, a huge drama fest as well. However, it was very musically/artistically fulfilling, and I got to do some clinics with two people who really knew what they were doing. Sweetness.

We also wound up going to a concert on Saturday done by a group called Ball in the House. They're an acapella group, but they have this insane vocal percussionist (I can't really call him a beat boxer) and a bass singer who mimics an actual bass. Wasn't bad.

So, two butt-marathon bus rides and some permanent kidney damage later, I'm home, and I am worn out. :dead:
