Title: With daddy on the boat

Yup, us poor children of divorced parents, if we ever want to SEE them at all, we have to arrange for little trips like this. I will be joining my father, his girlfriend and my three step-siblings for a few days on my dad's boat.

I'll be leaving Saturday afternoon (most likely anyway) and be back sometime before Thursday, depending on the weather and suchlike.

Just thought I'd let you all know. I hope you can survive without me and that you're not all DEAD when I get back. ;)

We'll miss you, have fun! :)

My Aunt and Uncle had the worst fiasco on their boat.

They were so looking forward to spending two weeks cruising all over the Adriatic sea with my little cousin. The first couple of days were fine-they were on a nice little island on a sandy beach, enjoying themselves...

And then the boat died. The engine went dead.

Naturally, they called the coastguards. But...the coastguards nearly destroyed the boat completely.

You lucky people with boats...

Have fun!   I likely will be dead before you get back, since I haven't recovered from my last bout of missing-Kristin-itis from when you went to the beach, but... hopefully you will survive until I can come back as a revenant. ;)

Can your dad's boat really sleep six people? o.O I only remember seeing two singles and a double when I was in it.

LIZ:

You've died so many times already, so once more will hardly matter. ;) :ripghost:

And Unni can sometimes get online on her laptop through her mobile phone, so I MIIIIGHT pop in before I come back to town. *Hopes*

About the roominess:
There is one double bed in the aft cabin, which is where my dad and Unni sleep - they even have their own bathroom back there. Then there is a bed in the very front which is like... semi-double thing (meaning that the upper bodies are separated, but the legs are like... in one bed). That's where Elise and I will be sleeping. In the kitchen-section (or galley if you will ;)) there are seats around a table, but the table can be lowered and covered with a mattress-thing, turning that too into a double-bed. That's where the twins sleep. I actually think the same thing is possible in the room where we sat as well, so I think there would be room for even two more.

Anywaaaaaaay: I løve you and will miss you and all that. *Hugglebuggle-bloobo-squish*

BETA:

HOLY... pete, that sounds HORRIBLE. I would be MAD. Won't they get something back on their insurance? And wow, that sounds lovely to be able to go WARM places with the boat. The weather here is blehhy. It's the rainiest summer in 150 years, they say (probably since they started measuring). It sucks! I still hope and pray for a few sunshiney days though. :)

AND I'm going to see/hear LAURYN HILL tomorrow! Yayay! I'm even on the GUEST LIST! Føn-ness!

I'll miss your posties though. Have fun.

I'M BAAAAAAAACK!!!!

Finally, and a few days too late - sorry about that. I've had a great time though, and hope you all managed to have a SOMEWHAT okay time without me - although of course that would be very hard, so I doubt that.

:)

*Hands out souvenirs and candy*

Yes, I had a horrible time. v.v You must NEVER vacation or see your parents again. *nodnod* That is the solution.

...and if one were to judge by the state of my current economy, that would be very likely to come true, so you might just be in luck.
