Anyway, um, I don't know his character all that well, but maybe if he saw her coughing while working he'd be worried and ask her what's up? (Worried for her or worried for the loss in productivity, either one. ;) )

Well... The thing is that Brenton has been working for eleven years at the Lindemans, and Ella has been working for four years. By this time, Brenton Mallory should have knowledge that Ella has Black Lung. I don't think that he would be the type to scold her for not working since she is coughing due to a condition she can't control.

I don't know if Ella knows if Brenton was shot or not, but here's an idea: say... she's dusting in the parlor when he enters the room and asks for a report. If she doesn't know that he was shot, then she could always ask Brenton what happened to him (since he's limping).

That works. I'm working through Wednesday night, which means if you want me to start it you'd have to wait until at least Thursday, or you can start it before then. Either way, I'm flexible. :)

I'll wait till Thursday. The thing is, I have a ton of Calculus homework which I have to do and there's no putting it off - its due Jan. 7. If you could please start the thread, I'd be most appreciative.

We had only really planned that she'd ask why he's limping. That's about it. :) I'm cool with it going whatever direction, though. :)
