Appearance:
Katherine stands at about 5'1 1/2, her eyes are a dark brown and to always seem to 'shine' in the light. Her skin is fair and light though she has gained a nice healthy glow due to being out in the sun. Katherine's hair is long and brown wich also has a healthy glow due to the sun. Her hair is seen worn in the style worn down, she only puts her hair up when she feels like it and even then it is a messy bun. Though she looks small Katherine can hold her own being a maid. When she is working she is wearing her maids outfit, when she is not at the theater she can be seen wearing a simple but pretty dress.

Personality:Ever since Katherine was young she has always been happy and bubblely. though if she had gotten mad she would let her family know. Shes energitic at times, and she is a very kind person but likes to keep things to herself and it takes abit more time and effort to get things out of her then it does for other people. It also takes her abit of time to trust people, men mostly but again with time and effort gaining Katherine's trust you will gain a good and loyal friend. Katherine's likes are music she'd play all day if she could, a violin. Another is company, she enjoys good comapny people that will listen to her and repect her. And another getting this from her father, telling stories, mostly made up on the spot, but they always drag a crowd, and laughing she lives to laugh and belives it to be very healthy for a person. Katherine's dislikes are a few, rude people, can't stand them. Another is blackmail, she thinks it's the lowest thing in the world, along with pity, and she hates it when people feel sorry for her, it makes her stomach turn.


History:
9 months later Katherine was born.

Katherine was born in to a poor family. Her mother was a waitress in an old rundown inn. Katherine knows little of her past and her father because her mother refuses to talk about it and him. when Katherine was around 18 she demanded that her mother tell her about her father. Her father his name was James, was a one night stand at the in where her mother worked they fell infatuated with each other. When he found out that she was pregnant he up and left. Leaving them with nothing but broken memories.
Accepting the fact that her father had left the next haf of her mothers life was truly shocking to her. In December the coldest of nights her father died, from causes unknown. Katherine's mother was heart broken, and so was Katherine herself. Katherine missed her father very much even though she had never met him as an adult. Her mother, Amalia had taught her daughter everything a young women should know. Now at 25 Katherine has left home and had found a respectable job (in her mind) as a maid in the theater.

Weapons: Keeps two small throwing knives underneath her garments. Although she does not have any formal training Katherine had taught her self to throw a couple punches and kicks.

Anyway, welcome! I’ll get straight to telling you what I think about the char, since the faster I do, the faster she’s approved. ;)

Uh-oh! To a Victorian mind, that’s like wearing six-inch heels, a leather bustier and a mini-skirt. Hooker-alert maximum! They were just like that. She’ll need to wear her hair up always, or people will think she’s a whore.

Where did she get the time to learn? Poor children worked as soon as they possibly could, sometimes by five and six years old.

It might be nice to have a little bit more detail in the personality section.

I think the history is incomplete? It starts with “9 months later Katherine was born.” Was there supposed to be something else in there? I’ll wait to comment on that section until you let me know whether it’s done or not. :)

Be careful with this strengh in a maid, since it could easily lead to unemployment. :)

It would be good to have a couple more weaknesses. You might not need them, also, if you can convince me that she is sufficiently shy and enough of a bleeding heart for it to be disadvantageous. :) Perhaps clarify what you mean by “shyness” and “people wanting to take advantage of her kindness”?

And then, on to the weapons section. :) I really am a hard-ass about this part. That’s why I put numerous warnings in the application template. :wub:

And she knows how to use them? And presumably has good aim, from practice? Not going into the mechanics of knife throwing, about how far do you estimate her, as a teeny woman, to be able to throw them? With what accuracy? Where did she learn? Would she throw them at a person? Remember if you ever plan to have her throw them at someone that a woman even threatening with a knife is regarded as a lunatic. If she actually hurt someone, it’s the gaol or asylum for sure.

How? On what? Did she practice by punching… pillows? Explain this one in detail.

She might need to be a little more complete to be accepted, but you have a great start here! I hope to approve her soon!
