Title: Midnight Mutterings

Ethan - February 23, 2008 06:35 AM (GMT)
It's 1:33am where I am and I happen to be the only one on the board currently. No staff, no peers, no anonymous people, no guests. Just little old me. With absofriggen nothing to do! Why not go to bed, you ask? Because. That's the only answer I can give you.
Does anyone else check the board almost hourly to see if your topic (in IC) has been replied to? Does anyone else have less of a life than myself? This is not to say that I sit at home all day. Oh no, I go to college. Yes, my friends, that is was occupies my mornings and I work at Walmart 4-9 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and then 11-8 on Sundays. So I do have times when I definitely won't be on but there are long stretches of time when no one is on and i am left to my own devices. Thus, I have resorted to posting this. Why? Not sure really. Just kinda sitting here wanting to post something but I can't because I have this thing where I don't like being in two threads at once.
It is a long standing habbit of mine to be in one post. I have been trained on many boards with many different rules but the rules that have been constant are the ones ingrained into my soul. I am a rule follower when it comes to boards and I am terribly afraid to piss off management on the internet or in real life.
Ah real life. I won't go into the grievences of reality or tell you any of the recent traumas of my personal life but I will say that this board has given me the escape that I need. Things are simple here and can be resolved or deleted. Sometimes I wish I could delete people and never remember they even existed. But I can't.

:poopie:

Also, as a side note, if I were a man, I would want to look like Brad Pitt as he is very handsome. Or Paul Walker...no scratch Paul Walker. He annoys me. Yeah but...I don't know. Brad Pitt is a handsome man but he also looks nice and not like a jerk. So I would be so very hot and friendly looking. Isn't that a nice combination? I think so. Things of this nature only occur to me when I am sleepy. Or Bored. Or in Class. Or a combination of the three.

Had I known that you were bored last night, I would have certainly come online to the board and chatted you up. I understand the feeling of wanting to write and not having any medium with which to get it out.

I really don't think that you could piss off the admins here. They are too nice and patient. They deal with me on a daily basis! :D

I knew some people who worked at Wal-Mart. They said it absorbed all the happiness from their lives. lol.

I hope everything in your personal life goes better. And hey, Brad Pitt is not a bad guy to want to look like if you were a guy.

What are you studying at College? I'm in grad school right now and I'm about pooped out of the classroom setting.

Wal-Mart is a satanic chain. I swear. My sister used to work there (on the graveyard shift, no less.) I used to get a kick out of showing up at Wal-Mart in a tee advertising the TA/RA union for my campus. :D "Educate! Activate! ORGANIZE!"

Sadly, that shirt is now a bit worn-out, so I can't do it anymore. v.v

On occasion, when I'm particularly excited about a topic, I will refresh the board obsessively. Especially when I know someone's working on a post for it. XD Sometimes, even if it's not MY thread, but I'm just following it because I think it's exciting, I'll check the board every five minutes to see if anyone's posted. So...no, you're not the only one. XDDD

If you're bored, ever, feel free to drop me a PM. Or an IM! My AIM is bigbellyfatbob - say hi the next time you're stuck for something to do, and I'll try to keep you entertained. :)

If I were a man, I would like to look like...Liam Neeson. *nods* Or possibly Paul Bettany. Hm. I dunno.

I hope that you can get things more into line with the way that you want them soon. :) :kissy:

If I were a man, I'd want to look like Crispin Glover. *runs and hides from peer laughter*

No, I do not grow attached to the avvies of my favourite chars. Not at all.

I used to work at WalMart. Usually from 4 to 1, and then they'd make me stay off the clock. It sucked all the happiness out of my life. :/ And I had a fellowship with hours requirements and I was taking two majors and had an average of 24 units a quarter. OMG, nightmare.

*huggles* It gets better once you graduate, bebe, it really does.

And haha! It's hard to piss us off, it is indeed. Very hard. *does not think that you will be able to do it*

Oh! But, if you ever get bored again, post in here. I forgot to nag you to do it before.
