He was my cat. 5 years old next Thursday (my birthday), black, short hair, kinda fat, temperament exactly like mine. Perfect cat for me. He was fine yesterday. He died from cardiomyopathy today.




I loved him.

I was looking forward to meeting him, too. Losing a pet is sooo haaard (I still grieve Faffar and have dreams about him - silly, but true). Wish I could be there with you right now. Will give you a BIG HUG when I come. Again sorry. Love you lots.

I still don't know you very well, but I'm throwing love towards you anyhow. I had a cat a few months ago that I had had for a few years that looked exactly like Ancalagon... and lost her, as well (although to a different cause).

Liz, I'm so sorry...I can completely understand how you feel. I've had cats who've died, too... :(

Liz, I'm so sorry! :heartcry: Can't say as I know how you're feeling because when my dog that I had for 14 years died, I knew it was time. This is not to say that I didn't cry and wasn't depressed for two weeks or more but when you don't know? Sweetheart, obviously take as much time as you need. We shall all be waiting for you to embrace you with cyber hugs.

He looks like he was an awesome cat.

I had a cat that looked just like him once - Shadowfax. She was an awesome cat. I'm sure Ancalagon was awesome too. It always sucks to lose a pet. Hope you feel better soon.
