Name: Richard Benjamin Chapman; "Chap"
Avatar: Hayden Christensen
Occupation: Actor; aspiring playwright.
Age: 23
Gender: Male.
Appearance: There's something about the eyes of Richard Chapman that can capture every emotion. Those blue eyes can be as calming as one who is listening to the beach, or as turbulent and rough as a storm. That's perhaps the flaw, and trait of the young gentleman: His eyes cannot hide how he feels. Others may also comment on the rather good looks of the young Chap. Wavy locks of blonde hair, combed nicely and instyle with the times. Because he isn't the wealthiest of men, he doesn't wield perhaps the best line of clothing, but he still wears what he can afford as good looking clothing.
Young Richard stands at a height of six-foot and two-inches, weighing in at about one hundred and seventy-five pounds. While he isn't wide with muscle mass, he does wield a decent build. A firm six pack is planted on his stomach, while also maintaining a good sized bicep and triceps. Legs muscles are also well built due to riding, but because of this, he has become a bit bow legged.
He wields a somewhat fair skinned complexion, perhaps the "Default" caucasion skin color. His features are very gentle, nothing very sharp, which also matches his facial expressions [unless something to a great amount of trouble, or good, has happened, or he is on stage.] Everything on his body seems to be subtle.
Personality: Chapman is a very gentle being. He has few enemies, many acquaintances, and few good friends. He tends not to get close to alot of people, and for reasons he holds close to his own, but this doesn't mean he takes the path of being rude or mean to someone. On the contrary, actually, he is quite the gentleman. Perhaps not the quintessential gentleman, but he holds manners very close to him.
Though not easily angered, Chapman is quite the ferocious duelist of words, aswell as quite scary, when angered. But, it isn't the out burst kind of anger. It is a subtle anger, a kind of anger that you can only recognize because of Richard's eyes. His words become poison knives that cut and slice, hurting those he speaks to.
Chapman is also very well spoken, and well educated, and holds it to his chest very dearly. It is because of his education and good social skills that he has excelled as an actor, which has lead him to start writing his own plays. Though, he does not ask anyone to read his work, feeling it isn't good and is actually embarassed by it, he still loves to do it, hoping to find one he is content with and try to put it on at the Lindeman Theatre.
History: Born and raised in Lindebo, in the county of Lindeboshire, he is the only son of Mr. Adam James Chapman, and Mrs. Reneé Levinson Chapman who, due to medical reasons, is no longer able to have children. It is because of this they did everything they could to make sure Richard recieved his proper education, and turned out to be a moral and upstandanding citizen and gentleman of Lindeboshire. Because he wasn't rich, he couldn't recieve the best education in Lindebo, but his parents got him the best they could, and attended to his studies occasionally, and helped him with any problems he had.
Discipline was key in the Chapman household, but they were not strict. It was fair logic- he did something wrong, he was punished. If he did something very well, he was rewarded. His reward? Sometimes a few pennies, sometimes candy. Most of the time, it was going to the Lindemen Theatre. It was here he dreamerd of becoming an actor. After graduating all of his schooling, he became an Actor at the Lindemen. After the news reached his parents ears, a large arguement broke out. The result was his father pretending he did not exist, and his mother accepting the decision. His mother believed and encouraged in following one's dreams, while his father was under the conclusion he wasted all the money for nothing.
But, it was at the Lindemen Theatre where he then became friends with an elderly playwright. They became good friends, where the elderly man would ask 'what would you do in this situation?' questions, while putting some of the answers in his plays. It was this older male who encouraged Chapman to become a playwright, or even a novelist.
But, whenever Chapman turned twenty, the elderly man died of natural causes in his bed. He was alone, and had no children, and no bride, so his belongings all went to auction, except one thing. A simple quill and phial of ink, and paper, which was wrapped for Chapman for his birthday. The quill, ink, and paper had not been touched for a full two years, until when his father passed away from sickness, shortly after Chapman turned twenty-three. It was there that Chapman wrote, opening up his first play, with a young man leaving a funeral.
