Title: Hello from Rosina

Thomas Windham - June 16, 2008 12:07 PM (GMT)
I think perhaps I should say Hello too.

I am Rosina. I am 61 (that is not a typing error) and I am English. For most of my life I lived in Kent (SE corner, south of London) and now I live in Cumbria (NW corner, 10 miles from Scotland).

I mean to have fun here with Thomas as my arms and legs, mouth and brain.

And Stella, hi and I was in a bit of hurry earlier, and Thomas can come over as a bit abrupt ...

Welcome again to the board! I can not express with words how cool I think it is that someone at the age of 61 roleplays on my site. It's just awesome. You rock my socks.

I hope you'll have a lot of fun here! :)

*tackle-hug* WELCOME ROSINA! :D Huzzah!

Jess is a happy camper now. Welcome, welcome, welcome!! :welcome:

Paget sends his warmest regards.

Hi Rosina, it's wonderful to meet you!! :D

You and Thomas helped me out quite a bit. ^^ I really appreicated it! (If I have an more questions, I'll just come to you. ^^) But you can call me Val, or Stella. Doesn't matter to me which one. ^^ Hope we get to get into a roleplay together at some point! Fun is what we should always aim for. =3

Paget, what Paget? You KNOW a Paget, Jess? And you didn't TELL me?

And welcome again, Rosina. :) You're like, the most über person ever. My role model. Yep. *bows and worships*

Hey there Rosina! I'm new too, but I hate making threads like this, myself. xD

I've never met anyone over 25 who bothered to role-play; I'm glad to hear that someone over the age of 40 still has an imagination (making fun of all the conservative people I know). I'd love to role-play with you at some point.

Call me Taz, Eclipse, Xatch... Whatever floats your boat. ^^

Nice to meet you!

You'll make me feel like some kind of weirdo. If this had been around when I'd been in my teens, or twenties, or thirties, I'd have played, but it wasn't.

I have hardly any experience of RPGs, though I've been writing (rejected by publisher, and successfully writing my 50,000 words for NaNo for the last three years) for the last 50-odd years. And I'm looking forward to having a go at this.

Yep, perhaps I am just a weirdo. And thank you, Jess, and love to Paget. I'm sorry I shot him.

Stella Douglass - June 16, 2008 10:57 PM (GMT)
No feeling weird now, Rosina! ^^

In my book, you're extremely awesome.
Amazing raisin!
Two thumbs way way up.

I still hope that I'll have my creativity when I reach thirty at least. ^^ As far as I know...I'm hooked on roleplaying/writing for the rest of my life.

It's my addiction. ^^

Me too! Wouldn't be awesome if we not only were still RPing twenty years down the road, but RPing together?

That would be awesome possum.

And... you shot Paget, Rosina? How could you?!

"My God, I've lost my leg!"
"My God, sir, so you have!"

It was an accident. Everyone knows it was an accident. No one told me to keep my hands where they could see them. They even gave me bayonets, and pistols and things.

It was an accident! And the leg will be as good as new, because we can't mess with Waterloo

And I'd be happy if I could keep living 20 years down the line. Wouldn't it be strange if I could remember every detail of Thomas's life, while mine slid out of memory.

Mjinga - June 17, 2008 02:29 AM (GMT)
Pshaw, of course you'll still be here 20 years down the line. :) I know many 81-year-olds.

Now that I think about it... I know more 81-year-olds personally than I do people my age. Eh, just goes to show you, older people are cooler than younger ones. They know so much more! And the stories! You know, young peeps could learn a lot just by listening to their elders once and again...

Sarah Borden - June 17, 2008 02:49 AM (GMT)
I find that people are either cool or not-cool...and if they're not-cool then they just get worse with age (true for both young and old XP Even just a couple of years can make a big difference.)

Anyway. But if they are cool, then...

And methinks that you (for all your unforgivable errors with Girandoni air-guns) are definitely in the cool-people category. If you're just more careful with fire-arms I'm sure we'll all be here twenty years from now having a ball. :D

Hey, what about me? :/

And yeah, let's make this site last for 20 years. That'd be awesome!
