Title: Rules

the.lamp - January 27, 2006 06:22 PM (GMT)
Rules in most boards will include:
  • no "leet speak"
    -capitals don't matter
-as long as there's no numbers it's good
  • Providing something relevant to thread
  • Not being an idiot
  • All YTMNDs go in Postwhoring or Media unless related to content of discussion
  • If someone makes a spelling error, don't make a post just pointing that out. That's how thread get ridiculously off topic over some dumbass spelling error. If you makea valid post to the topic, and then point out an error it's fine but otherwise shut the fuck up.
  • Put all Birthday Threads in Postwhoring, please
Postwhoring is an exception, in that it is more lax in these rules.

Certain forums are more heavily moderated to retain their serious mood; this includes:
  • Game Reviews
  • Opinions
  • Area Specific

Even though it's not major can we make sure people post YTMND's in Postwhoring? Unless it is used to show something, like the mystery song but just posting a YTMND should be in either media or postwhoring.

Can we stop people making a post that only points out a spelling mistake? I know I've done it recently but I'm going to stop and think everyone else should. Sure, you can point it out if you carry on the topic aswell. Please?

After 1000 posts members should be forced to give me their number. (This post will be deleted no doubt)

I think people have a right not to have their personal information (phone number) given out to Internet perverts.

I JUST STALK THEM! I don't act perverse or anything. :(
